Revelations a Study.Section 10. Chapter 13:1 thru 13:18, The beast The beast as described in scripture is anti-christ, or as God calls him Assyrian. Many believe this is Satan but Scriptures state otherwise. Lets take these next few verses and break them down. Rev 13:1 And “I”=John, stood upon “sand”=the edge of humanity, of sea=man, and saw a “beast”=anti-christ, rise up out of “sea”= man, having “seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns.”seven heads = 7 Mountains, ten horns = Ten kings, seven crowns =7 Kings., and upon his heads name of blasphemy. Anamils attributes are always used in scripture to describe attributes of God and a man.The key words that we are looking for in prophecy are, “was like”,“were as” & “as the”, these words should indicate to you automatically that an animal is only a medium to describe something else. Rev 13:2 And beast which I saw was like unto a “leopard”=who has great vision, and his feet were as feet of a “bear”great power,, and his mouth as mouth of a “lion”=power to devour: and “dragon”=Satan, gave “him”= anti-christ, “his power, and his seat, and great authority”= Satans powers are given to anti-christ.[Ref; Dan_7:6, Dan_7:7; Hos_13:7; Hab_1:8 Psa_22:21; Isa_5:29; Hos_11:10; Amo_3:12; 2Ti_4:17; 1Pe_5:8] Rev 13:3 And I saw “one of his heads” = Mountain{Kingdom} Eze 30:24 And I will strengthen arms of king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with groanings of a deadly wounded man. as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all world wondered after beast., The beast will take by force 3 kingdoms and other 4 will capitulate. [Ref; Rev_17:10, 2Th_2:9-12.] Rev 13:4 thru Rev 13:7 are best described by Daniel, this is time of great confusion and deception. Please read description by Daniel. Rev 13:4 And they worshipped dragon which gave power unto beast: and they worshipped beast, saying, Who is like unto beast? who is able to make war with him? Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. [Ref; Dan_7:21, Dan_7:25, Dan_8:24, Dan_8:25, Dan_11:36-39, Dan_12:1] We are going to get into full meaning of Daniel concerning Revelations, in our next study. This verse is one that is used by many to show that Church will still be here during 7 year Tribulation period. Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in book of life of Lamb slain from foundation of world. Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with sword must be killed with sword. Here is patience and faith of saints. [Ref; Isa_33:1, Isa_26:21] Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. [Dan_7:8, Dan_7:24, Dan_7:25; 2Th_2:4]

Revelations, A Study. section 2. Here in Section 2. Chapters, 1:16 thru 3:22. we will look at sevens of Revelations. Lets take notice of Jesus giveing a discription of Himself in each letter. Rev. 1:19, Is a comandment of Jesus to John to write things hereafter. Rev 1:20 The mystery of seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are angels [Ministers] of seven churches: and seven candlesticks which thou sawest are seven churches. The angels of seven churches, are literal, Ministers, or Pastors. These angels are literial, Dan 10:13 But prince of kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with kings of Persia. Dan 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, prince of Grecia shall come. ”Michael is Angel of Israel.” Starting in Rev 2:1 we will take a look at Seven Churches. Remember that Revelations is both, physical and Spiritual. Here are Physical Churches. Definition of “UNTO”, [Middle English : un-, up to; see until + to, to; see to.Unto /Un´to/, conj. Until; till. [Obs.] ] Notice that word unto, is mentioned in each letter to Seven Churches. These letters were written to Angel [Minister] of each church. Why? Because Pastor or Ministers of Churches have much to answer for and His direction must come from Spirit. [James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive greater condemnation.] [Mar 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but Holy Ghost.] "He that hath an ear, let him hear what Spirit saith unto churches” The Spirit of God is one speaking to each Church and not Angel. What is an Angel? 1. A MINISTER OR PASTOR OF A CHURCH, AS IN THE SEVEN ASIATIC CHURCHES. [ARCHAIC] 2. MESSENGER, A MESSENGER OF GOD. 3. A SPIRITUAL, CELESTIAL BEING, SUPERIOR TO MAN IN POWER AND INTELLIGENCE. IN THE SCRIPTURES THE ANGELS APPEAR AS GOD'S MESSENGERS. 4. Warier. 5.ATTENDANT 1.Ephesus. The city were worshippers of false god Diana, full of congeriours, witchcraft, Idolitors, ect. Now each church we see in these letters have some positive atributes ,we will concintrate on bad. Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat, [To some extent or degree] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. The Church was not true to teachings of Christ. “and will remove thy candlestick [ Minister] out of his place, except thou repent. " “out of his place” The Angel of Ephesus. When you remove minister out of church you loose Spiritual Guidance. 2.Smyrna. Smyrna ( The City) became a center for cult of emperor worship. Only two churches, Smyrna and Philadelphia were true to Christ. Great persecution befell Church and its angel was burned alive. Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are synagogue of Satan. “the synagogue of Satan” This is what Christ called Jews at this time. The Jews broke their own laws at murder of Angel of Smyrna.The Church still exists. 3.Pergamos. Antipas was murdered by AEsculapiu worshipers. “Satans seet”, The idol AEsculapius. Balaam - lord of people; foreigner or glutton, son of Beor.(Num. 31:8; comp. 16)(Deut. 23:4)(Num. 23:7).Nicolaitans, Professing Christians who, introduce a false freedom, licentiousness. They embrased Idol worship. 4.Thyatira. Jezebel, Daughter of Ethbaal, Preistest, 2Ki 9:7 And thou shalt smite house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge blood of my servants prophets, and blood of all servants of LORD, at hand of Jezebel. 2Ki 9:22 ...the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many? “Bright and Morning Star”,
