Reap Lifestyle Rewards from Improved Time ManagementWritten by Gerry McRae
Increase your motivation to improve your time management. Provide yourself with more time for family, fun and recreation. Transposing your success of managing your business activities over to your non-business life can reap surprising rewards.Someone once said, “kindness will go a long way when it should stay at home.” The same can be said of time management methods. Time with your family requires effective time management. When there are more than one loved one in your family circle, it’s more rewarding when you allocate more one-on-one times with each. Your spouse appreciates and values private time you devote to his/her needs and concerns. Children, especially, cherish moments which they do not have to share with siblings and others. The more you value your time devoted to your business or professional activities, more it is appreciated by your loved one. Quality time with your loved ones rewards you with a greater stature, a greater sense of well-being and extreme pride. Adjust your time managing from time-with-the-family to time-with-a-family-member. You and each member will be glad you did. Fun-loving people enjoy more success. People respect those who optimally manage their fun time. Since people like to have fun, they admire and follow those who are skillful at optimizing their time for fun. Include FUN in your time management improvement program. A fun-filled life is a healthy life.
| | Why Some Office Chairs Are Better Than OthersWritten by Nick Telford
We take some things for granted in life. Take breathing for instance. It is most vital function that keeps us alive; in fact, it is sign that we are alive! Yet, breathing happens so automatically that we rarely are 'aware' of it, until we come across an article like this that reminds us that breathing right way is important for good health. Let us discuss another human activity that you are involved in 90% of our waking time and yet know so little about - sitting. You sit at breakfast table, in car, and then again at work in our office chairs. You come back in evening to sit or slouch before TV. With so much of sitting around, it is quite right to make sure that we are sitting right! Office Chairs - Looks Alone Are Not Enough Work has changed over years so that most careers nowadays do not involve too much moving around or actual physical exercise. Most of work is done at a desk, in front of computer. An incorrect sitting posture or a wrong office chair can be harmful for your health. It can cause pain or injury to back, neck and legs. It can also cause diseases such as spondylitis and carpal tunnel syndrome. All these are usually termed as non- accidental injury at workplace because they are caused by normal and routine activities done as part of job. The most important thing that you should do to prevent such injury is to be aware of how you sit and correct your sitting posture. A good office chair can go a long way in helping you to sit right.
