PPC Optimization: Keyword PhrasesWritten by Dave Brown
Pay per click (PPC) advertising can bring you a tidal wave of traffic. Or it can give you a mere trickle like a leaky faucet. Sometimes, it's little things that make difference.I just want to show you one little trick you can use that can make a big difference in effectiveness of your PPC advertising. In fact, I'll show how you can use *same* keywords and get much more traffic than most people. The trick I'm going to show you here works with Google AdWords, but it may not work with every PPC search engine. And it works best when you're bidding on keyword phrases that contain more than one word. With Google AdWords, there are at least three different ways you can bid on a single keyword phrase. The simplest way is to just enter phrase you want to bid on. For example, let's imagine that I have a web site about healthy eating. I might bid on following keyword phrase: health food This means that I'm bidding on any search that includes both of those words. So my ad would show up if someone searched for any of following phrases: health food food that's good for your health food that's bad for your health You can see that I may not want my ad to appear for all of those searches. Some of them won't be relevant. According to Google's estimate, my ad would be (on average) 8.8 in list of all AdWord ads for that phrase. And I would receive approximately 9.1 clicks on my ad each day (on average). But there are a couple of options I can use when I place my bid on those keywords. And these might get me a lot more or a lot less clicks. And it might make my ad more relevant to search terms. Instead of just entering keyword phrase as I did above, I could bid on this: "health food" Putting quotes around words changes what I'm bidding on. Now I'm only bidding on search terms that include exact phrase "health food". Those two words have to be together and in that order in search term. So my ad would appear for phrases such as:

Why Write Articles to Publicize your Business? Judy Cullins c. 2003 All Rights Reserved.Reach 10,000 to 500,000 targeted buyers every day Online. That's best reason I know. Get exposure for contacts, customers or clients. The second best reason is that it's free. You subscribe to ezines, then submit your short Online articles to your audience. The third reason is that it takes little time to accomplish, maybe 9 hours a week. If you don't want to do it yourself, you can delegate it to your computer assistant. Six More Reasons to Write an Article 1. Writing articles bring free publicity. When you submit to 10 opt-in ezine publishers and 10-20 Web sites that want your articles, you expose yourself to thousands, even millions if you get your information on right site. Submitting them is free, free, free. 2. Submitting articles is 7 times as effective as any other promotion because when you submit many articles, you become known as an expert. These articles with their proper signature box at bottom bring 10-50 new subscribers each time for you own ezine. This box also attracts people to your Web site, where, if you have proper copywriting with marketing pizzazz, you will sell many products and services. Start writing two or so, keep them until you have ten to submit. Then write one a week. When you have submitted 20 or so, you will become a household name. Ezine subscribers and sites will publish them People who visit site or read ezine will also ask you if it's OK they use your article. Of course it is! They will send your articles to their business associates, who, if they produce an ezine or have a Web site, will also publish your article. Make your articles 250-800 words long. Or, write tips under 500 words. Author's Tip: Be sure to send a thank you each time someone emails you saying they want to publish your article. Respond to each one first, thanking them, then asking for permission to add their email to your ePublishers email list. Offer benefit that it's straight to their email door. Ask for a return email with "Yes, ePub" in signature line. Add their name to your growing list. I know have 150. To these I send out a new article once or twice a week. That's what is called viral marketing.
