Our Hope

Written by Joyce C. Lock

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope inrepparttar Lord. Behold, repparttar 126577 eye ofrepparttar 126578 Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy.

Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee. For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.

But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. That they might set their hope in God, and not forgetrepparttar 126579 works of God, but keep his commandments.

Rememberrepparttar 126580 word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word. Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. I wait forrepparttar 126581 Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Let Israel hope inrepparttar 126582 Lord: for withrepparttar 126583 Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. Let Israel hope inrepparttar 126584 Lord from henceforth and for ever.

Happy is he that hathrepparttar 126585 God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is inrepparttar 126586 Lord his God. The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

The hope ofrepparttar 126587 righteous shall be gladness: butrepparttar 126588 expectation ofrepparttar 126589 wicked shall perish.

Hope deferred makethrepparttar 126590 heart sick: but whenrepparttar 126591 desire cometh, it is a tree of life. For to him that is joined to allrepparttar 126592 living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. Forrepparttar 126593 grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down intorepparttar 126594 pit cannot hope for thy truth.

Blessed isrepparttar 126595 man that trusteth inrepparttar 126596 Lord, and whose hoperepparttar 126597 Lord is. And there is hope in thine end, saithrepparttar 126598 Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait forrepparttar 126599 salvation ofrepparttar 126600 Lord.

And I will give her her vineyards from thence, andrepparttar 126601 valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as inrepparttar 126602 days of her youth, and as inrepparttar 126603 day when she came up out ofrepparttar 126604 land of Egypt.

The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; andrepparttar 126605 heavens andrepparttar 126606 earth shall shake: butrepparttar 126607 Lord will berepparttar 126608 hope of his people, andrepparttar 126609 strength ofrepparttar 126610 children of Israel.

Turn you torepparttar 126611 strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee.

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope.

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickenethrepparttar 126612 dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might becomerepparttar 126613 father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope ofrepparttar 126614 glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; becauserepparttar 126615 love of God is shed abroad in our hearts byrepparttar 126616 Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort ofrepparttar 126617 scriptures might have hope.

Nowrepparttar 126618 God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, throughrepparttar 126619 power ofrepparttar 126620 Holy Ghost.

Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; butrepparttar 126621 greatest of these is charity.

A Prayer of Faith

Written by Joyce C. Lock

When Jesus departed, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come intorepparttar house, repparttar 126576 blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

He put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Testifying both torepparttar 126577 Jews, and also torepparttar 126578 Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and fromrepparttar 126579 power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience torepparttar 126580 faith among all nations, for his name: For therein isrepparttar 126581 righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Evenrepparttar 126582 righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness forrepparttar 126583 remission of sins that are past, throughrepparttar 126584 forbearance of God.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but byrepparttar 126585 law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith withoutrepparttar 126586 deeds ofrepparttar 126587 law. Seeing it is one God, which shall justifyrepparttar 126588 circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. Do we then make voidrepparttar 126589 law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establishrepparttar 126590 law. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifiethrepparttar 126591 ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Cometh this blessedness then uponrepparttar 126592 circumcision only, or uponrepparttar 126593 uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

Abraham receivedrepparttar 126594 sign of circumcision, a seal ofrepparttar 126595 righteousness ofrepparttar 126596 faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might berepparttar 126597 father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: Andrepparttar 126598 father of circumcision to them who are not ofrepparttar 126599 circumcision only, but who also walk inrepparttar 126600 steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. Forrepparttar 126601 promise, that he should berepparttar 126602 heir ofrepparttar 126603 world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, throughrepparttar 126604 law, but throughrepparttar 126605 righteousness of faith. For if they which are ofrepparttar 126606 law be heirs, faith is made void, andrepparttar 126607 promise made of none effect. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; torepparttar 126608 endrepparttar 126609 promise might be sure to allrepparttar 126610 seed; not to that only which is ofrepparttar 126611 law, but to that also which is ofrepparttar 126612 faith of Abraham; who isrepparttar 126613 father of us all. Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope ofrepparttar 126614 glory of God.

What shall we say then? Thatrepparttar 126615 Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, evenrepparttar 126616 righteousness which is of faith. Butrepparttar 126617 righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above). But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is,repparttar 126618 word of faith, which we preach.
