One Day at A TimeWritten by Joyce C. Lock
If just for today, Lord, I’ll keep my eyes and heart in tune to Your ever-loving presence. I’ll walk with You and glean upon Your every word ... be ready to go, ready to stay, and bask in fullness of Your day. If just for today, Lord, I’ll find joy in whatever comes my way, give You glory in each situation ... smell roses, pat dog, and enjoy wonder of Your creation. If just for today, Lord, I’ll check my thoughts, motives, and ways. I’ll see through Your eyes all You’d have me to see and be all You’d have me to be. I’ll reach out to my fellow man, give others a helping hand, and let Christ live in me.

When God's thoughts were written in Bible, they didn't have same meaning as how we interpret words. Didn't He tell us, “My thoughts are not your thoughts,” Is. 55:8? Almost every word of significance, within Bible, has its own definition given somewhere in Bible. God hides things from wise and prudent, and reveals them to babes, Lu. 10:21. God is His own commentator. He doesn't need anything, including interpreters. Study to show yourself approved, compare scripture with scripture, rightly DIVIDING word of truth. (If you don't, it isn't truth.) It can only be spiritually discerned. He told us all these things and more. Wasn't anyone listening!?! When you seek ME with your whole heart, you'll find ME. When you seek MY definition of words, you'll find MY heart and intent. Your knowledge will pass away. My words are forever. And, My Truth will set you free.
