One-hour Marketing Solution

Written by Maria Marsala

There are people who have found ways to market with integrity and have lots of fun, too. If this describes you, then skip this article! Other people would rather be doing anything else - even getting a tooth pulled (well almost) - instead of marketing. If that describes you, then start marketing 60-minutes each day.

Now, I'm not talking about creating forms, business cards, etc. Instead, take 1 hour each day and "really" market. First use that time to design a marketing plan (review your business plan for some ideas). Make sure that your plan includes many enjoyable ways to market or ways you think you'd enjoy. Do I hear lunch? Next, spend one hour per day conducting any type of marketing! Or spendrepparttar equivalent of that time - 2 afternoons per week or whatever way works for you - as long as it equals 5 hours per week.

Over time, you too will realize that marketing is fun. Without realizing, your marketing time will automatically begin to increase. Remember, if you get stuck... go torepparttar 121510 web or your local bookstore and check out "marketing" information. There are rows upon rows of "how to market" books. So, keep in mind, you can market your way, market with integrity, and have fun, too.

Back inrepparttar days when printing wasrepparttar 121509 only method of publishing a newsletter, repparttar 121510 rules were different.

The production costs (print & distribution) were high and this excluded many people from producing their own newsletters.

But withrepparttar 121511 Internet and Email, repparttar 121512 rules have completely changed....

Nowadays newsletters are incredibly cheap to produce and distribute overrepparttar 121513 Net. This fact has led to an explosion inrepparttar 121514 number of titles. Hence most Internet newsletters have a distribution of less than a thousand and many have memberships inrepparttar 121518 low hundreds or less.

THOUSANDS OF NEW NEWSLETTER EDITORS Butrepparttar 121519 explosion in newsletter titles has led to a whole band of first-time newsletter editors.

Many of them are home based. Nearly all of them under- resourced forrepparttar 121520 writing task ahead.

So here's one useful tip that during my lengthy newsletter editing career, I've used successfully many hundreds of times. I call it:

"How To Write A Newsletter Without Doing ALL The Hard Work"

One ofrepparttar 121521 greatest challenges for any newsletter editor is not asrepparttar 121522 job title suggests 'editing', but finding or producingrepparttar 121523 content.

Some people view newsletter editors inrepparttar 121524 same light as magazine editors. Nice comparison shame it just isn't true!
