Oh, no! I Have Backne! The continuing mystery behind back acne.

Written by Charlene J. Nuble

“Backne” is street slang for back acne. And whilerepparttar contraction’s definite origin is unknown, it can be said that it comes fromrepparttar 137888 fact that nearly everyone inrepparttar 137889 world has, at one point in his or her life, experienced having back acne. Indeed, back acne is universal enough to merit its own term.

Back acne knows no specific target. It afflicts people from ages ten to forty; sometimes even years after that. A lot of theories have been introduced as to why back acne happens. Sadly, however, none have been proven to berepparttar 137890 direct cause of back acne. But, before we get into that, let’s see first what constitutes back acne.

Back acne happens when so-called sebaceous glands (orrepparttar 137891 glands that create oily substance) produce an excess of oil. Commonly, males suffer from back acne, particularly during puberty, where shooting androgen levels interfere withrepparttar 137892 sebaceous glands and cause them to overproduce, clogging skin pores. Such clogging attracts bacteria; hence, back acne is born. And, mind you, back acne does not only appear on a person’s back; it can also surface onrepparttar 137893 buttocks.

Some believe that back acne is aggravated by wearing tight clothes and constant heat exposure, which disallowsrepparttar 137894 skin to breathe. However, since we are fully clothed most ofrepparttar 137895 time and it is inevitable that we sit, it is impossible for us to prevent back acne consciously. Therefore, it would be better if we just focus on ways to control them.

How is mold like AIDS?

Written by Dr GW Graham

Don’t laugh. Both get a lot of coverage inrepparttar press. Mold isn’t a politically sensitive issue but there are a lot of similarities.

1. Both get into your system without being felt. If you are living, working or studying in a moldy environment there will be mold spores floating inrepparttar 137852 air. Every time you breathe, these mold spores move through your nose, sinuses and into your lungs. Each of these spots is moist and warm. Ideal environments for mold spores to set up housekeeping. From these locationsrepparttar 137853 spores release mycotoxins (mold poisons) that get intorepparttar 137854 blood stream and spread throughrepparttar 137855 body.

2. Both attack your immune system so you can’t fight of normal, everyday diseases. Mold kills white blood cells. These arerepparttar 137856 body’s primary defense against invading bacteria and viruses.

3. Both kill indirectly. Yes I said kill. Cancer is probablyrepparttar 137857 leading cause of death with an AIDS patient. The body’s defenses are so weak that even simple diseases become life threatening. Mold releases poisons that are known to cause cancer. Chemicals likerepparttar 137858 Aflotoxins and Ochratoxins were written about 30 years ago. This is OLD science. These are found in most ofrepparttar 137859 household molds we run into in our investigations. The most common death from mold is a condition called a T-cell lymphoma. http://www.themoldlab.com/DrDennis.pdf Sometimes mold will get intorepparttar 137860 brain and cause death directly, but this isn’t very common. Mold also can lead to Heart Attacks. Many ofrepparttar 137861 mold toxins attackrepparttar 137862 connective tissue inrepparttar 137863 vascular system, including repparttar 137864 heart. Again this is OLD science. Nothing new or dramatic.
