But that enthusiasm we felt sparked into passion as we got more involved in it and it continues to ignite us through long and hard road of getting published.

We are ready to make money from our writing. And it stands to reason that we should. We have already perfected our profession. Shouldn’t money follow?

It doesn’t because being a good writer does not guarantee a publisher will notice you. So as rejection letters begin piling up you begin to question whether being a writer was actually a good idea or should you have hit yourself over head.

Being a writer is most wonderful thing. And there isn’t just one road to success.

If you are submitting your work to publishers and getting nowhere all you have to do is one thing. Change your mind.

Stop and think for a moment. You write. The product is yours. So why do you need someone to sell it for you? Why do you need to perfect those dreaded query letters just to get noticed? And why do you have to suffer for your art?

Because only way you can sell it is through publishers?

Wrong. Very wrong.

Put in same amount of hard work you are putting in submitting to publishers and actually get somewhere in your life.

The first time I attempted to write a children's book it took me three months and several years of promising myself I would do it "one day." In that time I managed to wash dog a million times, rearrange my closet, get my apartment so clean that they should have done a commercial about it and procrastinate in ways that gave word a new name.

When I actually sat down to write book it took me two days and that was with editing. That is longest that it has taken me to write a children's book since then and in reality, unless you are writing an epic it will not take you more than that period of time to write yours either, after you read this article.

Why then title, " How to Write a Children's book in 30 days or less?" So that you will have time to wash dog, clean closets and get Mr. Clean to personally come in and interview you, in addition to writing a children’s book that you will treasure forever.
