No Fish Stories: Write Your Testimony Fromrepparttar 126649 Heart by Barbara Carr Phillips

When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out intorepparttar 126650 deep and let down your nets for a catch." But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let downrepparttar 126651 net." And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. (Luke 5:4-6 NKJV)

Sometimes I get really tired of talking to my little Beta fish, Bob. It's not that I don't enjoy his company. He never interrupts me, always has time to listen to my troubles, and keeps everything I say in complete confidence. Butrepparttar 126652 trouble with Bob is he never trusts me with any of his struggles. He just floats around in his little bowl as though he doesn't have a care inrepparttar 126653 world.

Well, I've got news for you, Bob. Nobody's life is that perfect. I suppose I should be grateful for your listening ear. It's just hard to be real with a friend who seems to have it all together, allrepparttar 126654 time.

Self-revelation is a necessary process when writing fromrepparttar 126655 heart. We have to earnrepparttar 126656 trust of our readers forrepparttar 126657 story to mean anything to them. I wish I could say it's easy to keep putting my life out there for anyone to read, but it isn't.

It's easier for me to say "we" instead of "I". I remember a phone conversation I had last winter with a good friend. She had buried her mother a few months prior to our conversation, and was struggling with her sister's terminal illness.

"We love you," I said, but I knew I didn't say enough.

"We love you," I repeated, "all of us do." Still, it sounded empty.

"I love you," I said, finally saying what I wanted to sayrepparttar 126658 first time.

Why was that so hard?

Because saying "we" puts me withrepparttar 126659 gang, and I feel less vulnerable in a crowd. "I" puts me out there front and center with no one to hide behind. Getting close enough to my heart to writerepparttar 126660 "I" of a difficult situation is a painful process.

Zombies of the Christian Reich

Written by Larsen Rogers

One of these days I am going to write a screenplay. This story will be titled, “Zombies ofrepparttar Christian Reich.” I am offended byrepparttar 126645 far right thinking Christians that promoterepparttar 126646 ludicrous idea that this is a Christian Nation.

Isn’t that what Nazi Germany was?

Yes, it is true Nazi Germany was a Christian Nation and that is why they killed and imprisoned people who were not Christians (i.e., Jews).

A great movie of great shock value would one titled, “Zombies ofrepparttar 126647 Christian Reich,” The film will be allegorical but horrific. The Christian Reich is a group of Zombies that biterepparttar 126648 secular victims and try to persuade rational minded people to accept and promote a belief that is inaccurate and outdated.

Imagine being in a dark theater. The movie screen displaying walking corpses with emblazed Christian crosses on their forehead. The zombies move quickly towards their victims as they mutter Biblical verses and promises of eternal salvation. The victims being people of secular reason and science are struggling to escaperepparttar 126649 grasp ofrepparttar 126650 evil zombies.

There is a sound of crunching cartilage and bone as a zombie sinks teeth intorepparttar 126651 neck and shoulder of a victim. Blood sprays andrepparttar 126652 victim who was a rational and happy human morphs into a dying corpse. A bloody cross is magical etched intorepparttar 126653 victim’s forehead. The victim becomes a zombie ofrepparttar 126654 Christian Reich and begins to hunt down other victims.
