Has this been a year you will remember? The last couple of weeks, I have asked this question of many. Every answer was yes. My next question was - Reasons? If you are one of
majority, answer is September 11.I certainly see reasoning behind that answer but personally, I choose to look at year 2001 in a total different light. What kind of light? A positive light.
When I stated this to others, response was pretty unanimous. Ray, how could you possibly see 2001 as a positive? Because I choose to.
What are things that I found positive about this last year? Well here goes.
I found
1. That more positive I think, more positive life is.
2. That life does not have to be so difficult, I control this aspect much more than I ever dreamed.
3. Worry does nothing but give me more gray hair. ( The little I have left) :o)
4. Peace comes from within.
5. Being concerned with what others do or say, does harm only to yourself.
6. Accepting others, for who they are and not who you want them to be, is one of life's greatest blessings.
7. Every single day can be enjoyable if I so choose.
8. Things that I thought were important a year ago are now lost in background. This taught me that everything is not a matter of life and death as I had once thought.
