NEVER TOO OLD.

Written by Robert J Farey

My great granddaughter said I was too old to learn to use a computer. The trouble withrepparttar younger generation is that, they think that just because you are getting old, you are also becoming stupid. At seventy three I suppose I do seem ancient to a twelve year old. Never mind. I decided to show them by example. A second hand computer and an old Epson printer cost me £200.00. Evening classes on how to userepparttar 108736 internet were free to oldies like me.

I soon had myself set up with ‘Freeserve’ with my very own email address. They call themselves Wannadoo now.

It was not long before I was getting e-mails from hundreds of people and companies that I had never heard of before. I learned my lesson regarding junk mail. I changed my email account and started all over again.

There was an affiliate program that looked interesting. I kept on getting references to it from various sources. The idea of earning a little extra money to boost my pension was very appealing.

I tookrepparttar 108737 plunge and signed up. They gave me a ready set up web page with everything controlled fromrepparttar 108738 home base. All that I had to do was to advertiserepparttar 108739 program andrepparttar 108740 money would come pouring in. (What a hope.)

Two months went by with no income. Just outgoings. It was then that I discovered a book called ’30 Days to success.’ By Stone Evans. (You can get it for free.) This is one man who knows what he is talking about. It showed me exactly where I was going wrong.

Ten days later I received an e-mail from PayPal to say that two payments had been made into my account, A total of eighty six dollars. Not a great amount butrepparttar 108741 first of many.

A USE FOR JUNK MAIL

Written by Robert J Farey

Junk mail works. Why does it work? How does it work?

These are very important questions.

To make it work, it has to appeal torepparttar emotions. They have to make claims that inspire you to click on that ‘yes’ button. They inspire you with tales of what you could do with all that extra money. Clear all your debts. Pay off your mortgage. Takerepparttar 108735 family on a trip to Disney land. All this would be possible if only you would press that button.

What they are doing is creating images in your minds. Images of a new lifestyle. Visions of relaxing on a tropical beach. Cruises on a luxury ocean liner. Explaining to your employer exactly where to put his job.

This is sellingrepparttar 108736 image. Notrepparttar 108737 product. Sellingrepparttar 108738 fantasy. And it only cost $.xx.xx

Study these adverts. Try to discover how they work. What is it in them that makes you want to click that yes button. Find one that intrigues you. One that makes you want to click that button. What is it that convinced you that this one isrepparttar 108739 one that you have been looking for. Break it down into it’s component parts. Can you use this in your own adverts?
