My Name

Written by Joyce C. Lock

God said unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say untorepparttar children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, repparttar 126591 God of Abraham, repparttar 126592 God of Isaac, andrepparttar 126593 God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, byrepparttar 126594 name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.

An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee inrepparttar 126595 way, and to bring thee intorepparttar 126596 place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profanerepparttar 126597 name of thy God: I amrepparttar 126598 Lord.

And they shall put my name uponrepparttar 126599 children of Israel; and I will bless them. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out untorepparttar 126600 uttermost part ofrepparttar 126601 heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them untorepparttar 126602 place that I have chosen to set my name there.

I amrepparttar 126603 LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

Now therefore, what have I here, saithrepparttar 126604 LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saithrepparttar 126605 LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saithrepparttar 126606 LORD. But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name atrepparttar 126607 first, and see what I did to it forrepparttar 126608 wickedness of my people Israel. And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learnrepparttar 126609 ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built inrepparttar 126610 midst of my people.

Behold, that thus shallrepparttar man be blessed that fearethrepparttar 126590 Lord. The blessing ofrepparttar 126591 Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Thus saithrepparttar 126592 Lord, thy Redeemer, repparttar 126593 Holy One of Israel; I amrepparttar 126594 Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee byrepparttar 126595 way that thou shouldest go. Blessed arerepparttar 126596 poor in spirit: for theirs isrepparttar 126597 kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed arerepparttar 126598 meek: for they shall inheritrepparttar 126599 earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed arerepparttar 126600 merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed arerepparttar 126601 pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed arerepparttar 126602 peacemakers: for they shall be calledrepparttar 126603 children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs isrepparttar 126604 kingdom of heaven. But seek ye firstrepparttar 126605 kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
