My Biggest Ohio River Catfish

I got my boat on Ohio River at 06:45 before heat got too high. I headed for my new favorite fishing spot. Put two poles out and waited for action to start. I waited for 45 minutes with NO bites. I cranked up my motor and took off for my second place to fish.

Got my boat anchored and cast one pole in river. I was putting bait on my second pole when I notice a tap on pole in water. I watched line and there was a fish hitting on it. I picked up pole just as he moved, I set hook into him. The fight was on; from pull at other end I realized this was a nice size fish. The Channel cat was of decent size. When weighed it was 9 pounds and 25 inches long, not bad for this part of river. Had one other hard bite that ran reel briefly but never came back. After spending about 45 minutes there I moved on to another hole.

I stopped a bridge pier that my fish finder showed fish were there. I tried for 30 minutes with no action at all. At least I was in shade during stay there. I then headed back up river to first placed I fished.

There is some confusion over fight date and where fight will take place and against what opponent.

You author is a really big Mike Tyson fan and believes given chance he could get Mike back on right track again. Not only in boxing ring but in his life.

Your author knows what is like to have success very young as I had authored a famous book very young and then became a millionaire over night and then lost it all later in life. Wow that hurts. I personally know how Mike feels. I would like to have a chance to help him pick himself up off canvas and fight again. Gaining heavy weight championship title of world at twenty years old is very hard to deal with correctly. As a matter of fact is next to impossible.

I too like helping poor people. But Mike or I cannot do it if we don’t get back in ring and fight, fight, fight. Our smiling broke faces won’t do much to support good causes.
