Maximize Space with Loft Beds

Written by Julie Bonner

Is lack of space a problem in your kid's room? Joinrepparttar club! Many parents deal with this issue and can't seem to figure out exactly what to do about it. Let me share what we decided to do in our son's room that is working out great! Our son has a loft bed with an extra bed underneath (basically a versatile bunkbed), but he hasrepparttar 136707 luxury of not sharing a room with anyone. So,repparttar 136708 bottom bed was never used (except as a landing pad for items he doesn't feel like putting away!). We decided to takerepparttar 136709 bottom bed out and userepparttar 136710 space underneath for a tent that all three of our children love to play in. Not only does it look REALLY cool, but it saved us SO much space. (The extra bed was placed inrepparttar 136711 nursery of our youngest son forrepparttar 136712 day he is ready for it.) We had contemplated takingrepparttar 136713 tent down before this because ofrepparttar 136714 lack of space, but our kids didn't like that idea one bit. So by puttingrepparttar 136715 tent whererepparttar 136716 bottom bed had been, it gave them a cool hideaway space and much more room for playing.

Decorating for the Artist Within

Decorating Forrepparttar Artist Within

There is an artist lurking within all of us. The creative fire burns in every human, propelling us to create, to express, to shaperepparttar 136706 world around us. Even though we may be unlearned, or perhaps even unskilled, stillrepparttar 136707 urge to impact our environment is so inherent that we do it without even thinking about it. Every twist ofrepparttar 136708 magazines onrepparttar 136709 coffee table, every centering of a portrait, every adjustment we make is our inner self yearning to impactrepparttar 136710 world around. By making a conscious effort we can guide these impulses into a form of art that will both beautify our surroundings and strengthen our inner self.

When you decorate, repparttar 136711 artist does not have to be buried inrepparttar 136712 dark. You can be brave; taking strength fromrepparttar 136713 fact thatrepparttar 136714 person you are is good and right and what you want is good and right for you. If something sings to your insides then that isrepparttar 136715 right decision.

This does not, however, mean that you are always right. An artist’s concept onrepparttar 136716 inside is perfect, it is only once it has been expressed that it becomes open to fallibility. This is fine. The only way to teach yourself what it is that you want is to experiment with what you think.

Utilizerepparttar 136717 full creativity of your mind when planning a room. Close your eyes and imagine colors. Walk alongrepparttar 136718 walls ofrepparttar 136719 room, touch them, feelrepparttar 136720 shape ofrepparttar 136721 space within. Understandrepparttar 136722 sense ofrepparttar 136723 room. Then close your eyes again and find what you want fromrepparttar 136724 room. What does that look like? What would berepparttar 136725 feel inrepparttar 136726 perfect room? Sketch out ideas and keep notes.
