Making Decisions

Written by Daniel N. Brown

Think about what is going on in your life right now. Are there things that you really aren’t thrilled about? Or, are there things that you are really excited about? What arerepparttar choices that you made that led up to your current circumstances?

There is a cause and effect to everything. You think a thought, and then you decide whether or not to act upon it. If you act upon it, there will be a result. If you do not act upon it, there will be a result.

We are always making decisions in some fashion and a lot of decisions are relatively minor. Like what to have for dinner tonight. But, if we want to live our dreams, we will have to get out ofrepparttar 122870 boat and take some real chances.

Some people are born decision makers and others aren’t. This is a plus and a minus for both parties. If you are a decision maker, you tend to be quite productive, but also you could get in over your head, especially if you are really risky. If you are not a decision maker, you play it safe. This can keep you out of trouble, but also you are less likely to achieve your goals.

Doing What You Love

Written by Daniel N. Brown

My six year old son thinks that being rich has to do with having money. I try to help him understand that being rich involves a whole lot more.

If you have your basic needs met, like food, clothes, and shelter, and you have good health, good relationships, and enough income to cover your living expenses, then you are already rich. Now, if you have all those things and are also doing what you know you should be doing with peace in your mind and joy in your heart, then you are super rich!

So, most people in America are rich. So then, how is it that so many people are sad and continue to live their lives in disappointment and frustration?

I believerepparttar answer is they are not doing what God designed them to do. Everyone has a purpose in life. People say they believe that, but many don’t know what it is. I disagree.
