Make a DecisionWritten by Daniel N. Brown
Is your attitude, “I am a king’s kid and I deserve best?” It should be, because you are a king’s kid. If you’re born again, you were adopted into family of Christ and are now joint-heirs to kingdom of God. What is His, is yours as well (Rom 8:17, Gal 3:29).Let me ask you, are you living from paycheck to paycheck? Do you have unpaid bills lying around? Do you have bald tires on your car? These things ought not to be. Determine, right now, that you will not settle for this any longer! Insist that you will not live like a dog, settling for crumbs that fall from table. Pull up your chair to table and feast with king. You are a child of Most High God, set apart and made holy by blood of Lamb. Do not accept what enemy wants for you, which is only pain and misery. Remember, greater is He that is in you than he that is in world (1 John 4:4). You have authority over all power of enemy, in Jesus name, and nothing shall by any means harm you (Luke 10:19).
| | Praying with ExpectationWritten by Daniel N. Brown
Did you know that expectation is key to receiving all good things God has for you? It is written, “Whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe you receive them and you shall have them.” (Mark11:24)Believe you receive, or expect! What good does it do to pray without expecting God to answer? You might as well be talking to a tree. The Bible says, “Without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Heb 11:6) Faith, belief, expectation are required to receiving what you desire in life. I see a lot of good Christian people pray to God, asking something from Him, and never doing anything on their part to bring it to pass. God will do His part, for sure, but we are required to do our part as well.
