MSM - The Best Natural Remedy For Pain ReliefWritten by Brad Bahr
With all of dangerous side effects of pain medicine in news these days it's great news that there is a safer alternative available to us. MSM (Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane) is a natural and efficient source of organic sulfur, which is necessary for formation of collagen, and is required by many of body's structural molecules. It is a safe and natural, assimilable food derived from ocean. It is a member of sulfur family but shouldn't be confused with sulfa drugs, to which some people are allergic. It is completely safe, odorless, and non-toxic. MSM is a naturally occurring compound found in significant amounts in nerve tissue, skin, hair and joints. Tiny amounts of MSM can be found in grains, legumes, and fresh unprocessed vegetables like garlic, onions, cabbage, broccoli and Brussels sprouts. Meat, fish, poultry, eggs and milk all contain MSM. MSM is highly soluble - it is easily lost during cooking and processing of foods. Also, research has suggested that most people are deficient and that deficiency increases with age. MSM has been proven essential to joint health and function, and for all types of connective tissue in general. It is an efficient analgesic and anti-inflammatory, and has been shown to be very effective in treatment of allergies and asthma. It has also been found to provide nutritional support for healthy energy levels and toxin elimination. MSM is also effective at maintaining skin, hair and nail health. MSM is completely odorless and does not create body odor. It is sometimes referred to as beauty supplement for its noticeable effects of making your hair thick and shiny. It helps to keep skin elastic and healthy looking. It's also noted for strengthening nails.
| | ADHD The Easy WayWritten by Dr George W Graham
ADHD is a very rapidly growing part of health care industry. The symptoms are varied, including: irritability, hyperactivity and behavioral problems. Many kids are so affected that they require some pretty hefty drugs to control them.I spoke at a medical conference in Denver in 2004. One of other speakers was a pharmacology researcher. He brought up a statistic that indicated that kids on Ritalin [one of prevailing drugs for ADHD] tend to become addicted to methamphetamines. On radio other day, NPR was talking about giving these kids marijuana for symptoms. What are we doing to our kids? According to Psychology Department @ University of Tennessee, kids with TRUE ADHD average about 5-7% of a normal classroom. However, somewhere between 50% of kids in school today are diagnosed and treated for ADHD. http://www.amenclinic.com/ac/news/add_educators.asp http://www.4-adhd.com/other-conditions.html http://www.4-adhd.com/greentimeadhd.html What does this tell us? There aren't as many kids with ADHD as we are led to believe. Why are we drugging kids without true ADHD? Because these kids are a behavioral problem. Surprisingly, we find that when we get rid of mold and toxic chemicals in a house, kids with ADHD in home tend to get better. Almost immediately they have to go off their drugs. Case file: We consulted with a school on east coast. The school had sick kids [sinus infections and ADHD] and teachers [sinus infections and cancer]. The school board chose to do nothing. The people on school board had an agenda that didn't include health of kids. Many of parents took their kids out of school to home-school. Guess what? The kids with ADHD who were now being home schooled, had to go off their Ritalin.
