Lottery Winners Lose AllWritten by Caterina Christakos
Lottery Winners Lose it AllYou have heard it time and again. Lottery Winners lose it all and trust fund babies waste their parent's hard earned cash. In fact, up to 80% of lottery winners in this country file bankruptcy within five years. Most of us say," That would never happen to me. You would have to be really dumb to lose all that money." Yet very reason that these individuals let their money run through their fingers is very reason that most of us are still working pay check to paycheck. It is a lacking mindset that is responsible for our financial difficulties. They believe: 1) I don't deserve this 2) I feel guilty because it happened to me and not ___________ 3) This can't be real 4) etc... Those with money that work their way up from bottom or build wealth they have easily, have one thing that most of us lack - a million dollar mind set. All wealth begins with it and all wealth is maintained by cultivating this feeling of prosperity. Their beliefs are: 1) I am wealthy. 2) If I lost it all tommorow, I could make it back easily. 3) I deserve to be wealthy I would bet that most of us could compile a list of hundreds of things that we "want." That sense of wanting means that we feel that we do not have these things. When we replace this wanting feeling with sense of already having wealth, amazing things start to occur within our brains. We begin to come up with ways of having wealth instead of merely wishing and wanting it.
| | MOVING ON: POWERFUL TIPS FOR SELLING YOUR HOMEWritten by W. Troy Swezey
Maybe you're moving to a larger home to accommodate a growing family, relocating for a new career opportunity, or purchasing a townhouse for retirement. Whatever reason for move, you'll need to take necessary steps to sell your home for best possible price, within a reasonable amount of time. Where do you begin? If you're like most people, you'll start by seeking assistance from a professional. A local real estate sales associate, who knows your neighborhood, can help you determine a fair market price. The sales associate should also recommend extent to which you should make repairs or improvements to your house. In order to select a real estate professional who's right for you, ask family, friends and neighbors for referrals. Attend open houses and interview several sales associates to find out how professional or experienced they may be. Get a written outline of how they plan to market your property and services they will offer you. Once you've identified a qualified professional, rest is chemistry. Is sales associate someone with whom you would like to work closely? Do you feel comfortable with sales associate as your partner, working with you to give you advice and acting as your representative? Does he or she practice a consultative selling approach, focusing on long-term client relationship and on importance of exceeding client needs and expectations or is he or she caught up in proverbial 'hard sell?' The brokerage firm that your agent is associated with is also important. Research firm's success rate and commitment to quality service. Does it survey existing clients in order to ensure customer satisfaction? What are results of those surveys? How in tune are they with consumer needs? Do they offer guidance with mortgages or any discounts for other home related or moving services? "To be competitive in today's real estate market, as agents, we have to offer buyer/seller products and services above and beyond sale. That's why CENTURY 21 System has established partnerships with various companies that allow us to offer everything from mortgages to moving services.
