I don't talk much aboutrepparttar messages contained withinrepparttar 126648 Christian Bible, mostly because I don't want anyone thinking that I am only a spokesperson for that religion. However, repparttar 126649 Christian Bible is a good source of information on Power and how to tap into it for effective prayers. One very powerful book ofrepparttar 126650 Bible isrepparttar 126651 book of James. This is a relatively small book inrepparttar 126652 back ofrepparttar 126653 Bible, not far fromrepparttar 126654 book of Revelations. Only 5 chapters long, but packed with some intriguing messages.

The book of James speaks much onrepparttar 126655 proper focus of mind, to focus your mind on spiritual things and not on physical things. This isrepparttar 126656 kind of focus necessary in order to tap into Spirit and its Power. Some people see this book as saying that we should give up all physical pleasure and welcome hardship and suffering in our lives. Although this is one possible interpretation, I do not believe that it isrepparttar 126657 correct one.

The most basic principle of Power is that it flows from your spiritual essence and createsrepparttar 126658 equivalent of your thoughts and feelings. This isrepparttar 126659 way we humans were created. "And God gave man dominion overrepparttar 126660 Earth".

One ofrepparttar 126661 problems that many people get into is that they focus on what they see; such as their problems, repparttar 126662 obstacles to success, andrepparttar 126663 lack of what they desire; and by focusing on these things, they unconsciously direct Power to create more of these things. They do not realize that their focus of mind directs Power to create future events and experiences. James is trying to teach people to focus their minds on spiritual matters and on concepts of justice, fairness, generosity, and control. Anyone who focuses on these things will be directing Power to create these conditions in their own lives, whether they are conscious ofrepparttar 126664 process or not, and thus will haverepparttar 126665 quality of life improved.

Inrepparttar 126666 first few verses ofrepparttar 126667 4th chapter, James mentions something about prayers not being answers because of havingrepparttar 126668 'wrong motives'. I thinkrepparttar 126669 'wrong motives' that James is talking about here isrepparttar 126670 motive of gaining what is considered a limited supply. This isrepparttar 126671 context in whichrepparttar 126672 passage was written. If you ask for money, thinking that there is a limited supply of money inrepparttar 126673 world, then your request is not granted because you have come from a position of limitation. Inrepparttar 126674 Step by Step course, I refer to this phenomenon as underlying assumptions.

The central message ofrepparttar 126675 New Testament is that your mental focus must be right in order to receive answers to your prayers. You must focus not on what is physical, but what is not physical and is spiritual in nature. To focus on what is spiritual in nature doesn't necessarily mean to denyrepparttar 126676 pleasures of life, but to realize that nothing is limited and God isrepparttar 126677 Source of all good things. There is no reason to covet what another person has, because everyone can have all they want. All throughrepparttar 126678 Bible, repparttar 126679 message is that God has given us everything we could ever want, includingrepparttar 126680 Power to controlrepparttar 126681 world as we see fit.

Why Christmas HAD to be Commercialized

Why Christmas HAD to be Commercialized by Alan Tutt http://www.KeysToPowerProsperity.com

Every year I hear people say over and over again "I don't understand why Christmas had to get so commercialized." Behind this statement is usually an implied suggestion that it'srepparttar "evil capitalists" that are to blame and that people should focus on other things duringrepparttar 126647 Christmas season.

But is this true? Should we focus on other things around Christmas-time, or is there some value inrepparttar 126648 commercialization of Christmas?

If you rememberrepparttar 126649 story about when Christ was incarnated in Bethlehem, you'll also remember that gifts were presented torepparttar 126650 Christ child soon after His birth. What wasrepparttar 126651 purpose of those gifts?

The gifts given to Christ were a way to signify just how important those 'wise men' considered Christ to be. They felt that this newborn baby would berepparttar 126652 greatest of all, and they wanted to express their admiration of His mission on Earth throughrepparttar 126653 giving of gifts.

Isn't that what we do when we give gifts to those around us? Aren't we also expressing just how important these people are to us byrepparttar 126654 gifts that we give?

Christmas is also one ofrepparttar 126655 few times ofrepparttar 126656 year when we specifically focus onrepparttar 126657 message that Christ gaverepparttar 126658 world, andrepparttar 126659 work that He did while He was here.

All through His ministry on Earth, Christ continually gave of Himself to those who needed Him. He gaverepparttar 126660 gifts of sight, sanity, health, life, and wisdom. He also received gifts of food, shelter, and clothing.
