Learning from the Stars

"You learn something new every day". How many times have you heard that sentence? Chances are, many many many times overrepparttar course of your lifetime you have heard those six words or some similar combination. Sometimes when we have phrases like this repeatedly, we forget or somehow stop hearingrepparttar 101959 significance inrepparttar 101960 message. Usingrepparttar 101961 thesaurus in my word processor, I was able to tap into a list of twelve words which also mean "learn". There are subtle nuances to each word which may giverepparttar 101962 phrase more power or meaning to you. Here isrepparttar 101963 list, which I will give in a form where you will seerepparttar 101964 whole statement repeated, repparttar 101965 only change beingrepparttar 101966 word "LEARN". 1. You absorb something new every day. 2. You acquire something new every day. 3. You ascertain something new every day. 4. You comprehend something new every day. 5. You digest something new every day. 6. You discover something new every day. 7. You divine something new every day. 8. You glean something new every day. 9. You grasp something new every day. 10. You master something new every day. 11. You realize something new every day. 12. You understand something new every day. Which three ofrepparttar 101967 statements touch yourepparttar 101968 most? Which ones ringrepparttar 101969 most true to you? Can you seerepparttar 101970 difference using those three might make in your not only hearing this truth, also knowing it and living it? Inrepparttar 101971 spirit of learning something new every day, notice that inrepparttar 101972 paragraph above I purposefully engaged in using different senses to "speak" to you. I mentioned "touching" "ringing" and "seeing". That technique was used so that people who learn through different sensory experiences would all "learn something new". A lifestyle of "learning" (gleaning, discovering, understanding) something new everyday includes taking

Soul Goals

Written by Julie Jordan Scott

Last night I was talking with some of my dearest friends about Manifesting our Dreams throughrepparttar Power of Goalsetting.

As we were sharing, I explainedrepparttar 101958 way I manifested my current radio show. It all started when more than 5 years ago I wrote my 100 lifetime goals. Included onrepparttar 101959 list was my own radio show. This year, that came to fruition.

I also mentioned adding some distinctly "unbusinessy" goals on my list. These goals ironically haverepparttar 101960 power to significantly impactrepparttar 101961 bottom line of all my entrepreneurial and personal growth efforts.

These Goals are what I call my "Soul Goals".

As I write, I am looking at a simple glass vase on my desk. In it are three roses and an iris. Justrepparttar 101962 act of looking at them makes me smile. In another favorite workspace of mine, repparttar 101963 kitchen table, there is a bouquet of gloriously fragrant huge deep red roses. Last night I openedrepparttar 101964 door on my corner cabinet andrepparttar 101965 scent of these magnificent flowers hypnotized me, filling me with wonder.

Onrepparttar 101966 same 100 Lifetime Goals list, I wrote "have fresh flowers in my office and home at all times". These delectable floral arrangements from my own garden are a fulfillment of that goal. It is an ongoing goal, a soul goal that in turn makes me more productive in my adventures in business and life.

This weekend I saw many friends I had not seen in a long time.

In many conversations, I included, "Are you able to get away from your office for lunch duringrepparttar 101967 week? I would love to invite you tolunch so we can catch up and simply spend time together."

Another goal on my list is "Have lunch with one friend weekly". This is abare minimum goal. It is also one I have overlooked as I busily careened downrepparttar 101968 mompreneur path. Seeing all my beloved (and neglected) friends this week end reminded me how important it is to have these regularly scheduled heart connection times.

Without scheduling, they simply won't happen!

None of these folks knew about allrepparttar 101969 current excitement in my life, nor did I knowrepparttar 101970 excitement in their lives. One of my friend is having significant challenges with her teen aged son, another friend is still inrepparttar 101971 same job she wanted to quit when we met six years ago.
