Leap... And The Net Will AppearWritten by Sibyl McLendon
In 1994, my life hit rock bottom. My husband was addicted to crack cocaine, my 17 year-old son had just gotten his 15 year-old girlfriend pregnant, we were about to get evicted from our home, I contracted a life-threatening illness with no health insurance and my Mother died very suddenly, and as her only child, responsibility of this fell solely on me. My emotional hole was so deep, I could not even imagine light at end of tunnel, let alone see it. Two years later, my husband was free of addiction, I was running a business that was quite successful, I was healthy and had a beautiful Grandson that I loved deeply. Today, my husband is still drug free, my business has evolved to point that we can work at home, my Grandson is still (and always will be) light of my life, and I can honestly say that life is good. It was a difficult path back into light. Certainly, my life is far from trouble free now. But I learned one invaluable lesson during dark time that keeps me from falling back into abyss, no matter what Universe throws at me today: faith. And really, faith in “what” is not issue. It is simply faith in something. It could be faith in Creator, angels, Universe, yourself, electricity, or even a rock. It really doesn’t matter. It is act of having faith that makes difference. Someone once told me that even an atheist has faith that when he flips wall switch, light will come on. Along way, I saw a Zen saying, “Leap… and net will appear.” It became my battle cry, my philosophy of life. Take a chance, give something a try, at least you are doing something. It is one step towards taking control of your life. Find a goal, even a little one, and then do one thing towards reaching it. It may be scary, but a little fear gets adrenaline pumping. The rewards can be immense. Your self-esteem will benefit greatly. If you succeed, even in a small way, you can say, “Look what I did!” Believe me, it feels great.

Secret Plan to Achieve Your Desires Copyright© Lisa van den BergDo you want secret to attaining all you desire? Keep your thoughts targeted on what you wish to attain and means for their attainment will flow to you. Although plan I will present to you is easy enough to formulate, it is only by means of Absolute Faith that it can be properly implemented. Once you have decided what it is that you want from your Life, write it out in complete detail. You should write down everything about what you want to achieve, your plan for achieving it and what you will give in return for its fulfillment. I follow this plan and let me tell you that it works like nothing else I've ever tried. Follow it and you'll see. Keep thoughts of attainment in your mind. Carry that piece of card on which you've written your Statement of Desire with you wherever you go. When James J Hill was formulating idea that he wanted to develop a Transcontinental Railway System that stretched from one coast of America to other, he had no money and no friends of influence that he could turn to, to help him. What he did have, however, was Absolute Faith. He drew in his proposed path for railway system on a map of US and slept with it under his pillow, he carried it with him wherever he went and referred to it all time. He submitted it to his subconscious until his dream came true. What he needed for fulfillment of his desire came to him because of his Absolute Faith that it would. Sit down and write out your Statement of Desire. Write out all things you want to accomplish, a plan for making them happen and what you will give in return for them coming to be (time, hard work etc). Repeat your statement continually throughout day. Imprint it on your mind by visualizing outcome of your desire, as if it was already real. Remember that nothing physical comes about without an idea to start it off. Before you build a building architect first draws a picture of how building will look from picture he has in his mind. From his drawing builder can determine what materials are needed to build building and then set to work on making picture in developers head, a reality.
