Las Vegas - The Entertainment CapitalWritten by Eric Madsen
In my opinion, Las Vegas area is one of nicest places in Western US and falling in love with Las Vegas is easy to do. This town is "The Entertainment Capital of World" city welcomes 37.5 million people a year. Visitors love to enjoy dazzling shows, five star hotels, first rate nightclubs, unique shopping experiences, world class gaming, and plenty of Las Vegas coupons. There is a lot to see and do besides gambling: You can rent a car and visit desert sights, such as Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire. A drive from Vegas to Valley of Fire is about 1 hour and you can return via Hoover Dam. This makes for a nice 1/2 to 1 day trip, depending on how long you want to spend in Valley or at Dam. There's Lake Mead, with boat rentals, picnic areas, etc. They also offer raft trips down Colorado River. Mt. Charleston
| | Argentina Travel - Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Iguazú Falls, Tierra del Fuego and PatagoniaWritten by Rick Chapo
Argentina is on way back from economic crisis of last few years. If you are looking for a travel destination, Argentina is amazing and cheap. Economic Woes While Argentina has unlimited beauty, it also has unlimited corruption. The massive corruption finally lead to an economic crisis at turn of century. With currency devalued and jobs hard to find, Argentina was a decidedly dangerous place for travelers. At one point, country was going through Presidents faster than I go through coffee. At one point, country went through five of them in a month! Wait, that might not be such a bad idea. Regardless, things appear to have stabilized and country is back on travel map. So, what’s to see? Buenos Aires Prior to landing in Buenos Aires, you are strongly encouraged to glue your jaw shut. Buenos Aires is a city of jaw-dropping beauty. In many ways, you will feel as though you have magically been transported to Vienna. The European impression is overwhelming. The city is elegance itself. If you’re a meat eater, make sure you experience one of steak houses. You won’t be disappointed. Mar del Plata You’ve been doing sit ups, right? The Mar de Plata is hot beach area. Literally. Damn hot, sometimes. If you wish to pursue a little melanoma research, this is place. If you prefer to pass on cancer research, you can hit Mar de Plata Aquarium, play golf on five different courses. The area is also rife with discos. Try ones on “Noisy Avenue”, but don’t mention my name. There were…problems last time I was there.
