Joint Ventures are becoming very popular these days. One of
most popular for
last 2 years has been Mark Hendricks "12 Days of Christmas". Each year a lot of folks give away their products just for
exposure, and your email address. But, you get a lot of good stuff too!If you can't beat your competition, Joint Venture with 'em. E-mail targeted e-zines and ask them to do a joint venture with you. Agree to work together and beat
other competition, and then, share
profits. A strategic business partner that has
same objective could lead to lead trading, sharing market info, package deals, etc. Build alliance's with other businesses by trading links or ads, creating joint venture deals, cross promoting your products, etc. Endorsement ads with other e-zines pull more hits and sales than just trading classified ads because it gives your ad instant credibility.
Starting an affiliate program or using viral marketing, branding your name and business by writing articles and submitting them to e-zines or web sites for republishing, can increase your marketing and advertising efforts on
Internet. (see my article entitled "Submitting Your Articles To E-zines and Viral Marketing" by clicking below)

Writing a small report, with your ad included on it, and allowing others to give it away is a simple form of viral marketing. Allowing other sites to link to your site could increase your ranking in some search engines. Entice people to link by giving them something free in return, or a discount on
products you sell.
Remember to take a little time out of your day or week to brainstorm. Relax with a pen and paper in hand so you can jot ideas down. Don't worry if they're any good or not. Just write! You can back over
list later and edit it. New ideas are usually
difference between success and failure.
Model other successful business or people. I'm not saying out right copy them, but practice some of
same habits that have made them succeed. Learn how they attracted more traffic, made more sales, wrote better sales copy, etc.
Taking risks to improve your business can prove fatal. If you feel in your gut, that it's not a good idea, it would be wise to follow that gut instinct.
Turning your ad copy into a story and including emotional words in your advertisements like love, security, relief, freedom, happy, satisfaction, fun, etc, and your visitors won't be as hesitant to read your ad and will become more interested in your product. Turning your ad into an article say a how-to article, will lead your customers into your ad without them knowing it's an ad. They'll already be interested when they get to your sales pitch.
