I will be sharing from Book "Gospel" of John. This Gospel was addressed to Christians. The history of life of Christ, with especial reference to His most important acts and discourses.

Let's look at Pilate making an honest confession, Christ's Trial and Christ's Reply. (John 18:37, 38)

Pilate therefore, said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into world, that I should bear witness unto truth. Every one that is of truth heareth my voice.

Truly Jesus was a master speaker and could could give testimony for himself under any and all circumstances. He has just made a statement of kingdom of God, contrasting it with kingdoms of men, or kingdoms of world, and now he makes a startling reply to Pilate's sharp question, substaning idea of his Kingship. (John 18:37)

While reading Matthew 27:11 you will see Christ questioned, Mark 15:2 and Luke 23:3 you will see Christ replies.

Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. (John 18:38 we see Christ's Trial and Pilate's unwillingness to condemn).

Pilate feared men rather than God.

Pilate Desires to Release Jesus Christ (John 19:10-16)

Pilate now seems offended at Christ's silence. While charge against against him was found to be baseless, from which he should have been vindicated and released, Jesus sought to make no new revelations of himself.

Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? (John 19:10 Christ's Trial and Christ's Silence).

The Prophecy Concerning Christ Death: Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath greater sin. (John 19:11)

More impressed than ever by this powerful statement, Pilate again showed a desire to release Jesus.

And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. (John 19:12 Christ's Trial and They Demand Jesus's Condemnation).

Pilate prepared to give his judgement, taking his place in his offical seat which stood on a tesselated pavement called "Gabbatha."

When Pilate therefore heard that saying, be brought Jesus forth, and sat down in judgment seat in a place that is called Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. ( John 19:13 Christ led to Trial).

This decision was reached, it seems, about noon of day, which prepared for and terminated in Paschal Supper.

The fact that Jesus did rise is realization of all prophecy contained in Old Testament and New Testament Doctrine. Christ Appears to HIS Disciples John 19:23. Joesph of Arimathaea, being a close friend of Jesus, in secret, was kind enough to bury body of HIS Lord, giving him due honor; but upon investigation after three days, body of Lord disappeared.

The doctrine of resurrection is powerful in souls of believers. It works changes in lives of individuals, transforming them with greater visions for life and service.

The Gospel of John was written at Ephesus after St. John's release from Isle of Patmos, about A.D. 97. Apostle John whom Jesus loved, from his call till our Lord's Ascension, was never voluntarily absent from His Master's side: standing at cross when all rest were scattered.

Christ Appears to HIS Disciples (John 19:23)

The resurrection is a fact which Jesus Christ/Yeshua himself establishes here with his presence in midst of those who, knowing of his death just three days previous, have been praying and mourning because of extreme wickedness of those who were responsible for his crucifixion. Death had robbed them of their best friend; but news reached them that Master had spoken to Mary in garden near sepulchre. Mary Magdalene bore word to disciples that she had seen Lord, and that he had conversed with her, giving her words which she bore to them.

Then same day at evening, being first day of week, when doors where shut where disciples were assembled for fear of Jews, came Jesus and stood in midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. (John 20:19 Sacred Seasons, The Sabbatical Seasons, The Lord's Day Observed From First By The Christian Church).

While reviewing Luke 24:36 it shared on record Appearances of Christ After HIS Resurrection, To Ten and Thomas was Absent.

Then were disciples glad, for presence of Lord brought joy to seeker's soul. They rejoiced in realization of their hope. They saw Lord, him whom Prophet Isaiah said was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquites, chastisement of peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.

And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were disciples glad, when they saw Lord. (John 20:20 Appearances of Christ, After HIS Resurrection, To Ten, Thomas was Absent).

Jesus had come to earth to perform a mission. Jesus came freely and willingly, HIS Mission is in accordance with will of God. The Father has work to be done, a schedule by which it must be done, and he had sent HIS Son to do it.

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. (John 20:21 Apostles Instructions).

The Holy Ghost is a divine preparation whom God gives through HIS Son Jesus Christ, and HE is not only preparation for service, but HE is power.

And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye Holy Ghost: (John 20:22 Holy Spirit Given).

The Apostles were to go forth and enter upon their work with interest of himself. They had power now, and time for results is at hand.

Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. (John 20:23 Apostles Remit Sins).
