It's all about the first step...

I find myself in a mix of excited aboutrepparttar 142221 possibility, and apprehensive aboutrepparttar 142222 challenge - it's like me to set my goals large! As I was walking home thinking about my training programme, I really started to think about how setting a goal like this is so similar to setting any kind of goal in life. It's all aboutrepparttar 142223 power ofrepparttar 142224 first step. You could think, well, I am never going to take that first step because there are so many obstacles inrepparttar 142225 way - I have to get fit, get some kit, lose some weight, find some time, etc etc blah blah blah! I am sure you getrepparttar 142226 idea - it's like when you know you have to take action and there are so many great displacement activities - cleaningrepparttar 142227 house, answeringrepparttar 142228 mail - all stuff that can wait! Yet we chose to do that rather than what we know can and will make a difference to us. What's that about!? Personally, I've been thinking about getting back out and doing some exercise for ages, and even though I coach, it's still a challenge sometimes to take that first step.
