Improving MeditationWritten by Dale Power
If you have ten years to sit at bottom of a dark cave you can really master meditation. Short of that you could enroll in a monastery and devote your life to contemplation. Perhaps you would rather move to India and become a yogi? For a long time such extreme techniques and lifestyle changes have been only way to really do what we have wanted in regards to psychic power and ability. Even if you are willing to do it though, it has been kind of hard to find someone you can trust to push food through little slot in door each day or pay for plane ticket. Most people have an innate feeling that if they could just concentrate a little harder, go just a little deeper into their own minds, they would be able to unleash incredible power. All reliable reports say that they are right to believe this. Most people also find it hard to set aside an hour for meditation, never mind ten years. Here is a simple method that can take place of that ten year journey inside yourself. You still have to pay attention and use discipline to get where you wish to be, but you will speed things up several hundreds times, reaching levels of meditation that many have thought could not be reached at all and certainly not by city dwelling folk like most of us! The concept here is a bit circular. You use what meditative skills you have to generate a psychic field, which will carry your mind into a deeper and more focused state. In that deeper state you reinforce psychic field, which will drive you deeper still. When you reach state you wish you simply set psychic field to resonate with that level of thought and you will easily maintain your place. I am not suggesting that anyone give up their meditative practices and move to only this technique. Think of this as more of a tool to help you speed up your progress, rather than a complete program. After all, no single tool will ever replace self-discipline for getting things done. It also never hurts to give new skills an honest try, if you wish to perform at a higher level. Some of these steps will take a little work to perfect, but don’t let feeling a little shaky on one or two of them stop you though, as this method has a tendency to work itself into a consistently stronger format on its own! So lets get started. *Allow your mind to quite. If you have meditative skills, begin by going into yourself as deeply as you can. If you are new to meditation, just try to make inside of your head feel quiet and hollow. Don’t worry about doing it correctly. Just acknowledge any thoughts coming in and set them aside for a few minutes. *In this quiet space, you will want to focus on feeling of your mind moving into a deeper place. It is important that you focus on “feeling” or raw “knowing” of what you want. Try not to dwell on particulars. Your subconscious mind will get you where you need to be, you are just providing basic suggestion to go there. At this point you will have automatically begun to form a psychic information field around your mind.
| | Interpreting Tarot CardsWritten by Maria Svensson
Interpreting Tarot cards is, as you might expect, quite difficult and requires much practice. So is there an easy way? A short cut? yes - by focusing only on Major Arcana cards. What are major cards I hear you ask? The standard tarot deck, whatever imagery is used to depict symbols, is 78 cards in 2 sections, namely major and minor arcanas. The major cards are by far most important, and for quick readings, it is perfectly permissible simply to discard minor cards and concentrate solely on major arcana ('secrets' in latin). To lay out cards in a standard reading is beyond scope of this article, consult www.psychicsuperstore.com if you need instructions on how to start a reading. There are 22 major arcana cards, each one of which symbolizes an aspect of our existence. In our lives, we are constantly influenced in terms of our essential drives by forces that are depicted in Tarot. Together, major Arcana represent 'Fools Journey' - trip we all make - our lives in other words. To become a fully rounded individual and complete journey successfully, each quality represented by cards must be experienced or in some cases mastered. These 'qualities' we all must experience are universal, although of course order they occur in our lives and particular form lesson takes is completely individual. From '0' card (representing our first awareness) to card 21 (fulfillment), each of these cards is a stage on road to our final destination. When giving a reading, you must remember that although these universal experiences and lessons must be in everyone's life, your client will not have experienced them in same way as you (or even at all yet!) and so you must be careful not to superimpose your own life experiences on cards as they fall. Taking cards in order, we start with Fool. Based on medieval 'jester', Fool can watch, mimic and make fun of others. As Fool is essentially unpredictable and full of surprises, this card is a reminder that life has unlimited potential. Simultaneously, Fool stresses that fact that life is basically good. The very innocence of Fool brings him joy. In readings, Fool often signals a new start or change in direction. He also puts you on guard to keep your faith and trust your own instincts. Believe in yourself and follow your heart, your own convictions are right, and no one else can tell you otherwise, no matter how mad your course may seem on outside.
