How to avoid being labelled as Average.

Written by graham and julie

When your life is over how will you be graded? Will you get an A or a B or will you get a C Average? Will your time on this earth be rated as average? None of us want to be average. We all want to be successful. We all, deep down, haverepparttar desire to achieve something in our lives. So why oh why are you satisfied with being Ms or Mr average? What is it that makes you content being average? What makes you average? The inability to say No. The need to back your life both ways The need to have another plan just in case. The need to appear a good guy. The need to be liked. The belief that I can’t change. The belief that I’m too old. The belief that it’s too difficult. How do you avoid being labelled as average inrepparttar 122700 world? Simple: Choose what you want to do with your life at this time and stick with it. Now. Imagine someone is holding a gun to your head and is demanding that you tell them what you really want to do with your life. What is it that comes out of your mouth? Now ask yourself; what does this mean? For example: I want to be a good parent....what does this mean? It means that I want to focus all my energies to ensure that my children achieve their potential......Gotrepparttar 122701 idea? Write it down. Is this really what you want to do? Are you really committed to doing this? Because our gangster is still standing over you. If you don't start taking steps towards making that happen, he'll come back. He knows who you are and what you promised, he just wants to see you deliver. He'll be watching. The two most important steps he's looking for are: 1. Do you haverepparttar 122702 right thoughts.. Your thoughts are important. Your thoughts can bring you untold success. But they can also destroy you. Doubt is guaranteed to stop you being successful. You must believe in yourself and your ability. 2. Are you taking Action. Makerepparttar 122703 effort. If you don’t make effort you are left withrepparttar 122704 art of dreaming. Dreaming of what might be one day. Some ofrepparttar 122705 most common excuses we have heard to avoid making effort are:

Overcoming Fear of Change

Written by Chris Green

One ofrepparttar biggest problems we can encounter when we consider making changes to our life is fear. Even thoughrepparttar 122699 changes we want to make will bring more happiness by considerably enhancing our lives, fear will still raise its head to try and stop us in our tracks.

Why does this happen?

It’s all to do withrepparttar 122700 wayrepparttar 122701 subconscious perceives survival. It knows that you are in a safe position and that survival is more or less guaranteed if you carry on inrepparttar 122702 same way. As soon as you start to consider making changes to your life, your subconscious mind will playrepparttar 122703 fear card. You are leavingrepparttar 122704 comfort zone and boy-oh-boy, does it not like it! Not one little bit!

This is no joke. It happens to millions of people and this fear ruins their dreams for a better life. And here’srepparttar 122705 danger of giving in to this fear: You can feel as though you’re stuck in a rut – kind of like life is passing you by. Asrepparttar 122706 years pass, these feelings can become magnified and you can become filled with regret over opportunities you didn’t grasp.

I don’t know about you butrepparttar 122707 last feeling I want before I breathe my last is that I didn’t take advantage of opportunities because I gave in to my fears. Because let’s be honest here, we can generate excuse after excuse to save face and gain sympathetic understanding from our families and loved ones. But we can’t fool ourselves. Deep down inside, we knowrepparttar 122708 truth.

If you want to achieve a dream, you are going to have to understand and overcome fear. There’s a lot to it, much more than I can cover in one article. But for now, I want to look at an ally of fear, an ally that you can easily defeat.

When we’re inrepparttar 122709 comfort zone, one thing re-enforces it more than any other. Routine. Performingrepparttar 122710 same habits and behaviors on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The more routines you have in your life, repparttar 122711 harder it is to embrace life-enhancing changes. Any break from routines is met with strong resistance by your mind.

This is security. Andrepparttar 122712 more secure you feel, repparttar 122713 morerepparttar 122714 mind believes we are safe, that survival is assured. Introducing change triggersrepparttar 122715 fear response because your subconscious mind perceives a threat to your survival. A great technique to combat this is to demonstrate that your conscious mind is in control. You do this by adoptingrepparttar 122716 axiom that change is essential to growth. The more you embrace change, repparttar 122717 more color you add to your life. The more you grow, repparttar 122718 more happiness, satisfaction and fulfilment you feel.
