Let me explain, all business really is is act of you trading your time for your customers money. If you are effective at doing tasks that make this transaction happen as efficiently as possibly then you will be perceived as one of those with mythical Midas touch. If not, then you’re just like most of us. That is, most of us will do exact opposite.

It seems sort of paradoxical. Why would we spend so much time doing things that aren’t going to help us make money?

Honestly, it’s human nature that holds us back. We don’t know that we’re not doing tasks that are going to make us money, because we think we are. In essence, we trick ourselves.

Let me explain what typical online home business entrepreneur does. First, He’ll see an enticing eBook that seems to show some promise then he’ll buy and read it. After that, he’ll try to put some of theory he’s learned into action.

This my friends, is where he messes up.

Here’s a little story I’d like to relate to you about my own life and it has nothing to do with home based businesses. Though, by then end you should be able to draw a few parallels.

As a kid in sixth grade I weight 198 pounds and I was teased like most fat kids. I hated it. At that time, I played football and I wrestled (heavyweight of course). I was worst kid on both teams. I hated sports and I probably hated myself for most part too. Even coaches made fun of me. I really felt like I had no one on my side. Life sucked.

That went on for a few years. Then in eighth grade I got a new wrestling coach. A short Russian man named Alex who was very hard to understand until you got use to his deep accent. I still was worst kid on both football and wrestling team, but for first time in my life coach didn’t make fun of me. This guy actually looked out for me.
