How to Create A Mini Web Page In 10 Steps

Written by Dan Farrell

If you are like me and not a 'techie' or web designer, but want to create your own web pages here arerepparttar steps I use.

First, I use Frontpage2000 almost exclusively and many web designers look down on FP.

They like either Dreamweaver or NetFusion, which I have never used. So I can't give you my opinion. But I will say my 4+ years of using FP2000 has been a love/hate relationship :o)

Loverepparttar 121136 ease and speed you can create a page, haterepparttar 121137 added code and quirky nature ofrepparttar 121138 software.

But overall, it doesrepparttar 121139 job and if you want to see some examples I have done, go to:

And one I just did but hasn't been transferred to its own host at kiosk,

Ok, I'm not that artistic but I like to keep them simple and easy to navigate. That is important as most surfers click, scan for a few seconds and either stay or click off. You need above all, CONTENT! Forrepparttar 121140 visitor orrepparttar 121141 Search Engines.

The steps I take to create a one pager with FP2000:

1. Writerepparttar 121142 content with Notepad, Word or any text editor

2. Open a new page inrepparttar 121143 folder (on your computer) you will store your web site.

3. Open a template. I use 10 templates I bought from Jimmy D. Brown, my favorite author. You can see them here.
