First I’d like to concentrate this part of article to people with a website but no product.

If you already have a website but aren’t pulling in very many people to look at it and refer it to your friends, first thing you need to do is to submit your website to as many search engines as possible. To do this, and for either free or extremely cheap, go to Google, or some other search engine of your choice, and type in keyword ‘free online advertising,’ or something like that. Once Google or your engine has pulled up its results, pick first result and submit your website. Once you’re done with this one, go back to results page and pick next one, and so on and so forth, until you have submitted your website to at least 100 search engines.

First, a good affiliate program can be hard to come by. It needs to offer decent commissions, accurately track sales, and most importantly, pay their affiliates in a timely manner.

Many webmasters and internet gurus are doing very well with only a handful of affiliate programs. Once you find a good one, you kind of seem to get stuck on it until you are positive you are making every penny possible.

Before spending a lot of time and money marketing an affiliate program, always check it out first. There are a number of ways to do this.
