Natural stone is graded as to it’s suitability for a given task. It is also graded regarding region of world it originated from. This is a grade for general use but more for stone professionals to advise architects, surveyors etc which products to use for maximum efficiency in building or home.

When buying on internet you are usually shown samples of very best, Granite, Marble, Limestone etc. You must be aware that this stone is probably not what you will receive. Firstly, stone is batched. You need batched stone to get consistent pattern throughout surface. If you were to buy stone today and return for stone a month later to complete your project you will invariably get a mismatch that can look horrendous especially with larger crystals such as blue pearl granite.

Paint is well known as one of least expensive and easiest ways to change look of any room, but if you pick your colors carefully you can give space a new feel as well as a new look. Certain colors can make your bedroom walls feel closer or farther away.

If you have a small bedroom and you want it to feel more spacious, then consider painting walls a receding color. These are blue – green – purpleish colors and any combination thereof. Look at a basic color wheel – you’ll see that those colors are all next to each other on one side. You probably want to avoid darkest of these combinations, however as painting a room in very dark tones can make it look smaller overall.
