Home Business -Establishing Yourself as an Expert in the Eyes of Your Customers.

The most important aspect of a successful business is developing correct mindset toward your customers. And this is not over used phrase The customer is always right. Actually correct mindset we are referring to here is to always think in terms of benefits for your customers. The highly successful businessperson thinks of ways to show interest in their customers even before they come into their store.

They endeavor to educate customer on benefits of their products and services. They make their products and services stand out in their customer's mind. Some marketing experts think of this in terms of a USP or Unique Selling Proposition. Or what are unique selling characteristics that separate your products and services and make them stand out from your competition. Here is an exercise I suggest you do and then repeat at regular intervals. Ask yourself following questions and then write down in a list all answers that you can think of.

1. In my relationship or interface with my customers what items am I currently doing or could I be doing which provide benefits to my customers? 2. What area of my relationship or interface with my customers which if I could improve would provide additional benefits to my customers? 3. Is there something in my relationships with my customers that they may dislike? 4. What special services do I provide my customers that benefit them? 5. What benefits do my customers receive from products I sell?

Here is a different business approach for you.

I know that there are seemingly endless home business ventures available to us today, and it seems like there are more of these “ventures” starting up on a daily basis. Before starting or joining one those ventures please do me a favor and research, research and when your think that you are done, research some more What exactly do you want or expect to get after you join up with any business venture? Look for a solid company that has been around for years or even decades. Look for solid products that can compete with other “like minded” products. What kind of support or training will you actually receive? Do they offer you a 100% money back guarantee if you should decide that venture may not be what you were looking for after all? Has market been over flexed? I know that most people do not have many good things to say about MLM based companies, and I can understand their frustrations. In most cases, only top dogs make any significant amounts of money, and for most part you will be hard pressed to make any money at all. Let’s not forget about having to recruit your friends and family members. And how about having to invest more of your time and money on self help books and audio tapes and seminars?
