Head Position And Deep Breathing For Maximum Positivity!Written by Tim Webb
Have you ever considered that you may be subconsciously sabotaging and inhibiting your own potential positive emotions through position of your head and manner in which you breathe? Personally, before a few years ago, I had never really considered it. However as I became more interested in how deep focused breathing could positively change your body and mindset I looked more closely at such things. What I want you to do right now is pop your chin on your chest and bring into your mind a negative image or thought. Take a few minutes to focus on this thought with your chin down. Now, what I want you to try next is this. While holding same thought in your mind raise your chin off your chest, bring your head up, and stand tall. What I found (and I’m sure you did also) was that when you bring your head up and stand proud negative image or thought becomes less intense. Essentially, it begins to dissipate!

The world that we live in today is full of deadlines, traffic jams, convenience foods and sedentary activities. In our struggle to make life easier and more efficient, I think people have actually made their lives more complicated by making more room for mundane and insignificant, and losing focus on what’s really important. At end of day, nothing really matters if you’ve busied yourself to exhaustion and don’t have time to enjoy all of good things that life has to offer.Ironically, that’s why we’re so busy in first place. We work long hours to make a decent amount of pay so we can enjoy nicest cars, eat out at fanciest restaurants, and wear best clothing. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying that these things are bad. I enjoy a good meal out and a nice pair of new shoes like most people would. What I’m saying is that we’re avoiding thing that REALLY makes us who we are – our inner self. How often does average person take time out to do things that makes us truly grounded? I can’t give you statistical data, but answer question for yourself. What kinds of things do you do each day to connect with earth? Do you garden, go hiking, play an outdoor sport or recycle? Do you meditate often? When was last time you prepared a meal that didn’t come from a box, can or fast food window? If you’re average busy person, you may have to think for quite a bit before coming up with an answer. I think one of most important things we can do to keep ourselves lively and healthy is to somehow connect with earth on a regular basis. You don’t have to be a hippie or tree-hugger to do it either. I’m talking about things that you can do right in comfort or immediate surroundings of your home. Bring nature into your home just as you would a close friend or family member, and I guarantee that your life and vitality will flourish. There are so many ways that you can connect with earth at home. My favorite ways of connecting have to do with use of essential oils, herbs and other plant life in my daily activities. All living things contain a life energy that passes to other individuals who experience them. By making these things part of your every day life, you begin to absorb those life energies, making you a happier, healthier person. Below is a list of some different ways you can begin including life energy of botanicals and essential oils into your everyday life. Many of these things are simple and will only take a few minutes of your time, but can produces hours of happiness and years of longevity when properly used.
