God, the Great GiverWritten by Joyce C. Lock
Behold, that thus shall man be blessed that feareth Lord. The blessing of Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Thus saith Lord, thy Redeemer, Holy One of Israel; I am Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by way that thou shouldest go. Blessed are poor in spirit: for theirs is kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are meek: for they shall inherit earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is kingdom of heaven. But seek ye first kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

And God made two great lights; greater light to rule day, and lesser light to rule night: he made stars also. After these things word of Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as stars of heaven, and as sand which is upon sea shore; and thy seed shall possess gate of his enemies; And I will make thy seed to multiply as stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all nations of earth be blessed. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever. The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as stars of heaven for multitude. Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now Lord thy God hath made thee as stars of heaven for multitude. Their children also multipliedst thou as stars of heaven, and broughtest them into land, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they should go in to possess it. Is not God in height of heaven? and behold height of stars, how high they are! When I consider thy heavens, work of thy fingers, moon and stars, which thou hast ordained ... O give thanks unto Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that by wisdom made heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that stretched out earth above waters: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever: The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever: The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.
