God's Armorbearer & The Ministry of Details

Written by Earma Brown

And God hath set some inrepparttar church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. –1 Corinthians 12:28 KJV.

The ministry gifts such as apostles, prophets, evangelist, teachers, and pastors receive much acclaim and recognition, as it should be. The Body of Christ needs every office set inrepparttar 145045 Church by God. However, there is a ministry not mentioned as much also set inrepparttar 145046 Body by our Lord. That isrepparttar 145047 ministry of helps. There is an important place forrepparttar 145048 minister of helps.

How wouldrepparttar 145049 church manage withoutrepparttar 145050 hands that help withrepparttar 145051 details? When something practical needs to be done, a person anointed to help steps in and sees to it thatrepparttar 145052 job is completed. God is practical and good and so are they that help.2 The behind-the-scene jobs inrepparttar 145053 church often go unrecognized. Yetrepparttar 145054 humble tasks arerepparttar 145055 ones we benefit fromrepparttar 145056 most.

There are faithful people who maintainrepparttar 145057 grounds, clean our church, make repairs, do plumbing, assist withrepparttar 145058 administration, type bulletins, usher, greet, watch babies, make surerepparttar 145059 sound and electronics work smoothly, make snacks and food forrepparttar 145060 church, do dishes or simply help withrepparttar 145061 details. Praise God for those serving inrepparttar 145062 ministry of helps.

Through Scripture, we know God placed ministries inrepparttar 145063 church, not man. 9 A person should not enterrepparttar 145064 ministry just because someone told them they were suited for it. Let God call you and place you where He wills.10 I encounter many who say, “I’m called to preach.” Yet they do not start withrepparttar 145065 small God puts before them to qualify them for their calling. When you are answering your call to serve, consider God may want you to spend a season inrepparttar 145066 ministry of helps before He matures you to your ministry office.

Remember Stephen and Phillip, who started inrepparttar 145067 ministry of helps but later operated as evangelists? They were faithful to help where God assigned them first.11 Also, I must mention that there were five others assigned to help. There are no other references of them inrepparttar 145068 Bible. I believe they continued faithfully serving inrepparttar 145069 ministry of helps.

If you are uncertain of your call torepparttar 145070 ministry of helps, ask God to confirm your calling. Apostle Peter admonishes us to be diligent with proving that we really are called and chosen byrepparttar 145071 Lord.12 Give all diligence to exercising and developing His virtuesrepparttar 145072 fruit ofrepparttar 145073 Spirit (listed below), so that you may be effective and productive in your gifts and calling:

•Faith. Exercise your faith at every opportunity. Faith pleases God. Everyone receives a measure of faith to function within whatever gift God has graced him. He whose gift is practical service, let him give himself to serving according torepparttar 145074 proportion of his faith.13

•Virtue. After exercising your faith, develop virtue, which is spiritual excellence. Daniel, in serving God and exercising his faith, developed an excellent spirit. So much so that he and his fellow Jewish slaves were found ten times better in all respects thanrepparttar 145075 others assigned torepparttar 145076 Kings’ service.14

•Knowledge. In developing an excellent spirit, add knowledge. Get to know your Heavenly Father. As we know Him better, we are sure to discover our destiny and what He wants us to do step by step. Paul wrote torepparttar 145077 saints in Ephesus, “I keep asking thatrepparttar 145078 God of our Lord Jesus Christ, repparttar 145079 glorious Father, may give yourepparttar 145080 Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.” 15

Revelations A Study. Section 11.

Written by REv. Anthony Smith

Revelations A Study. Section 11. Chapter 14:1 thru 14:20, The hundred forty and four thousand preachrepparttar Gospel torepparttar 144795 Jews, Rapture of Saints and destruction of wicked. Rev.14: thru 14:7. Revelations is a book of absolutes. Many ofrepparttar 144796 verses in chapter 14 are self explanitory. I have introduced explanition where needed. Rev 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb{The Christ} stood onrepparttar 144797 mount Sion [A name of Mount Hermon. Most Holy Mountain of God.]{Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and untorepparttar 144798 city[Jerusalem,City of David] ofrepparttar 144799 living God,repparttar 144800 heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,}, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand{The Sealed Jews of Israel}, having his Father's name{Jehovah} written in their foreheads. There are many that believe that Armogeddon has nothing to do with Israel. This is because they fail to researchrepparttar 144801 prophecy ofrepparttar 144802 old Testiment. The Land of Israel isrepparttar 144803 land that Satan andrepparttar 144804 Anti-christ must obtain to stop prophecy from being fulfilled. We will expand into that area later in our studies, countries, maps and areas. Rev 14:2 thru 14:7 is self explanitory. Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, asrepparttar 144805 voice of many waters, and asrepparttar 144806 voice of a great thunder: and I heardrepparttar 144807 voice of harpers harping with their harps: Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song beforerepparttar 144808 throne, and beforerepparttar 144809 four beasts, andrepparttar 144810 elders: and no man could learn that song butrepparttar 144811 hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed fromrepparttar 144812 earth. Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which followrepparttar 144813 Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, beingrepparttar 144814 firstfruits{First congregation of believeing Jews} unto God and torepparttar 144815 Lamb. Rev 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault beforerepparttar 144816 throne of God. Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly inrepparttar 144817 midst of heaven, havingrepparttar 144818 everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell onrepparttar 144819 earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; forrepparttar 144820 hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, andrepparttar 144821 sea, andrepparttar 144822 fountains of waters. Babylon is two places in Revelations, The physical andrepparttar 144823 Spiritual. In Hebrew writeings when a name or should I say subject is mentioned twice that indicates that it happens twice. The first wasrepparttar 144824 fall of Physical Babalon inrepparttar 144825 Old Testiment. Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink ofrepparttar 144826 wine ofrepparttar 144827 wrath of her fornication. [Ref; Rev_16:19, Rev_17:5, Rev_17:18, Rev_18:2, Rev_18:3, Rev_18:10,Rev_18:11, Rev_18:18-21; Isa_21:9; Jer_51:7, Jer_51:8, Jer_51:64, Rev_11:8, Rev_17:2-5, Rev_18:3, Rev_18:10,Rev_18:18, Rev_18:21, Rev_19:2; Jer_51:7; Eze_16:15-22; Nah_3:19] The second is both spiritual and physical. The spiritual side concerns, false, doctrine, teaching, preaching. The physical side is an actual city of earth that John explaines later. Rev 14:9 Andrepparttar 144828 third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worshiprepparttar 144829 beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
