Glorify thy Name

Written by Joyce C. Lock

Moses said unto Aaron, This is it thatrepparttar LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before allrepparttar 126560 people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

Ye that fearrepparttar 126561 LORD, praise him; all yerepparttar 126562 seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all yerepparttar 126563 seed of Israel. Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows untorepparttar 126564 most High: And call upon me inrepparttar 126565 day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O LORD; and shall glorify thy name. I will praise thee, O LORD my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

Wherefore glorify yerepparttar 126566 LORD inrepparttar 126567 fires, evenrepparttar 126568 name ofrepparttar 126569 LORD God of Israel inrepparttar 126570 isles ofrepparttar 126571 sea. Therefore shallrepparttar 126572 strong people glorify thee, repparttar 126573 city ofrepparttar 126574 terrible nations shall fear thee.

Thou hast increasedrepparttar 126575 nation, O LORD, thou hast increasedrepparttar 126576 nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto allrepparttar 126577 ends ofrepparttar 126578 earth. Sing, O ye heavens; forrepparttar 126579 LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts ofrepparttar 126580 earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: forrepparttar 126581 LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me fromrepparttar 126582 womb; fromrepparttar 126583 bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; inrepparttar 126584 shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me; And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because ofrepparttar 126585 LORD thy God, and forrepparttar 126586 Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee. Allrepparttar 126587 flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, repparttar 126588 rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorifyrepparttar 126589 house of my glory.

Surelyrepparttar 126590 isles shall wait for me, andrepparttar 126591 ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, untorepparttar 126592 name ofrepparttar 126593 LORD thy God, and torepparttar 126594 Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee. Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inheritrepparttar 126595 land for ever, repparttar 126596 branch of my planting, repparttar 126597 work of my hands, that I may be glorified. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, repparttar 126598 oil of joy for mourning, repparttar 126599 garment of praise forrepparttar 126600 spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, repparttar 126601 planting ofrepparttar 126602 LORD, that he might be glorified.

Hearrepparttar 126603 word ofrepparttar 126604 LORD, ye that tremble at his word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Letrepparttar 126605 LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving andrepparttar 126606 voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

And say, Thus saithrepparttar 126607 LORD God; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified inrepparttar 126608 midst of thee: and they shall know that I amrepparttar 126609 LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her. Yea, allrepparttar 126610 people ofrepparttar 126611 land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renownrepparttar 126612 day that I shall be glorified, saithrepparttar 126613 LORD God.

Go up torepparttar 126614 mountain, and bring wood, and buildrepparttar 126615 house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saithrepparttar 126616 LORD.

Ye arerepparttar 126617 light ofrepparttar 126618 world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are inrepparttar 126619 house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know thatrepparttar 126620 Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he torepparttar 126621 sick ofrepparttar 126622 palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. And he arose, and departed to his house. But whenrepparttar 126623 multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men. Insomuch thatrepparttar 126624 multitude wondered, when they sawrepparttar 126625 dumb to speak, repparttar 126626 maimed to be whole, repparttar 126627 lame to walk, andrepparttar 126628 blind to see: and they glorifiedrepparttar 126629 God of Israel. And immediately he arose, took uprepparttar 126630 bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

Andrepparttar 126631 shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for allrepparttar 126632 things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

And Jesus returned inrepparttar 126633 power ofrepparttar 126634 Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through allrepparttar 126635 region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and allrepparttar 126636 people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. Now whenrepparttar 126637 centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

(But this spake he ofrepparttar 126638 Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: forrepparttar 126639 Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, repparttar 126640 town of Mary and her sister Martha. (It was that Mary which anointedrepparttar 126641 Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)

Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but forrepparttar 126642 glory of God, thatrepparttar 126643 Son of God might be glorified thereby.

Onrepparttar 126644 next day much people that were come torepparttar 126645 feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed isrepparttar 126646 King of Israel that cometh inrepparttar 126647 name ofrepparttar 126648 Lord. And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt. These things understood not his disciples atrepparttar 126649 first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

Holy, Holy, Holy

Written by Joyce C. Lock

There is none holy asrepparttar Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. Glory ye in his holy name: letrepparttar 126559 heart of them rejoice that seekrepparttar 126560 Lord.

As for me, I will come into thy house inrepparttar 126561 multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

There is a river, repparttar 126562 streams whereof shall make gladrepparttar 126563 city of God,repparttar 126564 holy place ofrepparttar 126565 tabernacles ofrepparttar 126566 most High. A father ofrepparttar 126567 fatherless, and a judge ofrepparttar 126568 widows, is God in his holy habitation. The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels:repparttar 126569 Lord is among them, as in Sinai, inrepparttar 126570 holy place.

O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places:repparttar 126571 God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God. I will also praise thee withrepparttar 126572 psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing withrepparttar 126573 harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

Forrepparttar 126574 Lord is our defence; andrepparttar 126575 Holy One of Israel is our king. Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

Exalt yerepparttar 126576 Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy. Exaltrepparttar 126577 Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; forrepparttar 126578 Lord our God is holy. Glory ye in his holy name: letrepparttar 126579 heart of them rejoice that seekrepparttar 126580 Lord.

For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant. He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

My mouth shall speakrepparttar 126581 praise ofrepparttar 126582 Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. The fear ofrepparttar 126583 Lord isrepparttar 126584 beginning of wisdom: andrepparttar 126585 knowledge ofrepparttar 126586 holy is understanding.

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, isrepparttar 126587 Lord of hosts:repparttar 126588 whole earth is full of his glory. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: forrepparttar 126589 earth shall be full ofrepparttar 126590 knowledge ofrepparttar 126591 Lord, asrepparttar 126592 waters coverrepparttar 126593 sea.

Ye shall have a song, as inrepparttar 126594 night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come intorepparttar 126595 mountain ofrepparttar 126596 Lord, torepparttar 126597 mighty One of Israel. That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, thatrepparttar 126598 hand ofrepparttar 126599 Lord hath done this, andrepparttar 126600 Holy One of Israel hath created it.

As for our redeemer, repparttar 126601 Lord of hosts is his name, repparttar 126602 Holy One of Israel. The Lord hath made bare his holy arm inrepparttar 126603 eyes of allrepparttar 126604 nations; and allrepparttar 126605 ends ofrepparttar 126606 earth shall seerepparttar 126607 salvation of our God. For thy Maker is thine husband;repparttar 126608 Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemerrepparttar 126609 Holy One of Israel; The God ofrepparttar 126610 whole earth shall he be called.

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shallrepparttar 126611 Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh inrepparttar 126612 glory of his Father withrepparttar 126613 holy angels. For David himself said byrepparttar 126614 Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. To performrepparttar 126615 mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant.

As it is written inrepparttar 126616 law ofrepparttar 126617 Lord, Every male that openethrepparttar 126618 womb shall be called holy torepparttar 126619 Lord. And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; andrepparttar 126620 same man was just and devout, waiting forrepparttar 126621 consolation of Israel: andrepparttar 126622 Holy Ghost was upon him. And it was revealed unto him byrepparttar 126623 Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seenrepparttar 126624 Lord's Christ. Andrepparttar 126625 Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father giverepparttar 126626 Holy Spirit to them that ask him? And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is alsorepparttar 126627 Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. For he was a good man, and full ofrepparttar 126628 Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added untorepparttar 126629 Lord.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to allrepparttar 126630 flock, overrepparttar 126631 whichrepparttar 126632 Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feedrepparttar 126633 church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Whereforerepparttar 126634 law is holy, andrepparttar 126635 commandment holy, and just, and good. For ifrepparttar 126636 firstfruit be holy, repparttar 126637 lump is also holy: and ifrepparttar 126638 root be holy, so arerepparttar 126639 branches. I beseech you therefore, brethren, byrepparttar 126640 mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Forrepparttar 126641 kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy inrepparttar 126642 Holy Ghost.
