A typical problem besetting many print jobs is when desired output is not what one gets. Miscommunication and inadequate planning is a big contributor to this problem. To avoid wasting time, money and effort, outline steps that can be taken prior to print job itself. Julian A. Foster, Jr. drove home a really important point with his highlighting of need for an effective plan for print jobs in his article. He said that one must know ahead of time what you are trying to accomplish and know how you wish to accomplish it. A clear understanding of what your goal is will give you a better chance of achieving it since it will put you in proper perspective and enable you to formulate best steps to be taken and contingency plans if all else fails. Arriving at ways to reach your objective is easier if you fully understand what you want to do. Good communication is also a key ingredient in success of your print job.
