Perfect for those couples that like to dress up together! **Plug and Socket** Materials needed: black cotton material, heavy white iron on interfacing, large square piece of foam (enough to fit around hips), scrap cardboard, gold colored paint, hot glue and gun, black long sleeved shirt, black pants. 1.For electrical outlet costume, measure from your knees up to your shoulders, then double this length and cut. For width, measure from shoulder tip to shoulder tip and add an inch. Cut your current length of material to proper width. 2.Fold material in half width-wise (ie. if you hold material in front of you it still falls full length from shoulder to knees). Cut a hole out of folded end so your head will fit through. Hem opening. 3.Slip material over your head so that it’s inside out. Carefully pin material together 3 to 4 inches below your underarms on each side. Remove costume and sew seams from bottom up to your underarm pins. Hem bottom of costume. 4.Cut out 2 large socket shapes from white iron-on interfacing. Carefully cut two rectangles out of inside of each socket shape (where you “plug” would go). Iron sockets to front of outfit, one above other. 5.Dress in a black shirt and black pants (or skirt). Slip costume on and you’re done. 6.For Plug Costume, take white foam and carefully cut a whole through back third of foam piece (not in center – you want more foam in front to act as “plug”). Step into foam and slide it up over your hips. You made need to adjust opening to fit. If necessary, make two black straps and attach them with a glue gun to inside front and back openings of foam and slip straps over your shoulders to hold foam in place.

Having a baby can be one most life-changing experiences there are. And not all those changes will be easy to cope with. Here are some tips for a first-time Mom, to help you get through rougher times. The vast majority of women today, are working when they become pregnant. That means making a decision whether to stay home with baby, or return to work. This is something you can consider during your pregnancy, weighing pros and cons of your income, versus benefits to this child, and any others to come in future. If you decide to return to work, finding childcare ahead of time, will relieve you of worries when your maternity leave is at an end. Women who do work full-time, often find themselves swamped in things that relate to baby, whether it's their laundry, their nap schedules, or their feedings. At times it can seem like your whole life revolves around them, where it used to involve co-workers, friends and visits to family. One of most valuable tips for a first-time Mom, is that you shouldn't give up your entire life to new one that you're carrying. After baby is born, you will be their primary caregiver, but you don't need to be tied to them every second. Make some time for you, whether it's a yoga class at night with Dad doing babysitting, or a date out with your partner, and one of grandparents spoiling new arrival.
