To this day, history of ice cream remains a mystery. However, many say that first ice cream is credited to Emperor Nero of Rome. It was a mixture of snow, nectar, fruit pulp, and honey. Others proclaim that Marco Polo, a 13th century adventurer, brought ice cream to Europe from Far East. However, regardless of where it came from, today's average American consumes 23.2 quarts of ice cream per year, with first ice cream parlor in America opening in 1776 in New York City.So, which countries like ice cream most? The United States, New Zealand, Denmark, and Australia top list. The favorite flavor is classic vanilla. Then comes chocolate, strawberry, neapolitan, and chocolate chip. Bamboo tea is a Dai Nationality ethnic tea. There are two ways to make bamboo tea. One way is to fill processed (killing out and kneading and rolling) young tea leaves (one bud and two and three leaves) into a bamboo tube, and bake it on fire. The other way is to steam sun-dried tea leaves on top of sticky rice for 15 minutes, then fill tea leaves into a bamboo tube. Bake tube while filling and compressing leaves into it. After tube is full, seal tube with bamboo leaves and bake it on fire. Turn tube every 5 minutes till tube turns into yellowish color and leaves inside it are dry. Cut open tube, and bamboo tea is done.
