FROM DEFEAT TO VICTORY
1 Chronicles 5(KJV) verse 25 “And they transgressed against God of their fathers, and went a whoring after gods of people of land, whom God destroyed before them. verse 26 And God of Israel stirred up spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even Reubenites, and Gadites, and half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to river Gozan, unto this day.” 1 Corinthians 10(KJV) verse 11 “Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom ends of world are come.”
At one time or other, every Christian has experienced defeat but wise learn from their defeats, and then see them turned into victories! From first text above we can see that when God’s covenant people experience defeat, they enter into a level or degree or type of captivity. Captivity is a state in which God’s people come under heavy yoke of satanic oppression. In this article, we shall look for way out of such an embarrassing situation.
Obadiah 1(KJV) verse 17 “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
‘Mount Zion’ is place that God has ordained deliverance for His covenant people. Deliverance is divine process of enforcing victory of Christ on cross (Col.2:15) so as to take away captivity of God’s people. This process could appear to be sudden or gradual and it could seem silent or dramatic. The divine agency of deliverance is anointing that breaks yoke of oppressor (Isa. 10:27). The anointing flows in light of truth that sets us free (John 8:32).

MAKING AN IMPACT
Obadiah 1(KJV) verse 21 “And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge mount of Esau; and kingdom shall be LORD's.”
James 5(KJV) verse 22 “Let him know, that he which converteth sinner from error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.”
Judges 2(KJV) verse 16 “Nevertheless LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of hand of those that spoiled them." verse 18 "And when LORD raised them up judges, then LORD was with judge, and delivered them out of hand of their enemies all days of judge: for it repented LORD because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.”
This present generation is in dire need of message of Jesus Christ more than before as it sinks deeper and deeper into gross darkness. This message is not obsolete but is relevant as long as we remain in dispensation of grace. Thereafter it will be too late! Therefore now is time for each member of church of Jesus Christ to carry heart of God to world around in power of Holy Spirit!
The message remains fresh and relevant in lives of millions of Christians all over world even in countries where Church remains underground! And God's purpose for each Christian within his or her God given territory is that each one should make an impact that is so positive and powerful to demonstrate and establish kingdom of God!
Salvation is Spirit-initiated and Spirit-driven process whereby anyone is 'delivered from power of darkness and translated into kingdom of his dear only Son [the Lord Jesus Christ]’ (Col 1:13)'. For this process to be activated, individual under convicting power of Spirit, repents of his or her sins and trusts in Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and Saviour. In this context, 'saviours' are just human channels whom God uses in different ways to introduce others to His salvation through their preaching and lifestyle. They are simply agents of Saviour to rest of mankind. Each one's territory extends beyond local assembly (mount Zion) into places (the mount of Esau) where they live, work, study, or travel through amongst others who are yet to know Christ-these places form battlefield for warrior of Christ to fight for and win over souls of men through power of Spirit from a heart of unconditional love! This ‘apostolic/prophetic warfare’ involves three aspects which are as follows:-
