Four Tips For Getting More Mileage From Your ArticlesWritten by Bonnie Jo Davis
It has become common knowledge that smartest and most effective free method of advertising your business and services is to write and submit articles to over 400,000 e-zines currently on 'net. There are even several e-books written on topic, including mine, that will help you take advantage of this effective technique. What do you do next after you've invested hours necessary to research, write, proofread, edit and submit your article to thousands of e-zine publishers?I recommend several methods of recycling articles to clients who utilize my article submission services that I'm going to share with you today: 1. Publish each of your articles on a separate page on your web site. Then take keywords from that article that you used in title and text and create a set of meta tags for that page. Use a free meta tag generator like http://www.anybrowser.com/MetaTagGenerator.html to make sure your meta tags are properly formatted and all inclusive. Next, submit article page to all of free search engines. Once that page is indexed those keywords will attract searchers to visit your site where you can convert them to loyal customers. 2. Take article you've written and customize it for an industry you want to target. For example, I have a client who writes internet promotion articles. After submission she customizes her articles for real estate agents, accountants, ophthalmologists, home health care companies, etc. I then offer customized articles to industry associations representing those groups. This tactic has resulted in hundreds of thousands of fresh, new visitors to her web site when an association prints her customized article in their newsletter or magazine.

That doesn't however, mean that we give up on idea of personalized service.Generally, when you talk about making your operation more "personal," you mean obtaining demographic information on your customers to allow improved customer service. This, however, is really a short sighted way to think of concept, "personalized service." You need to remember that relationship between customer and seller is a two way street. Not only do you need to understand that your customers are individuals, they need to understand that they are dealing with a real person and not just a nameless entity. Yes, easier said than done, as are most things you read about marketing on Internet. However, if you make effort you can put fourth a real and genuine personality that will make your customers feel as if they actually know you. First and foremost, get a photograph of yourself and make it available on your site and for use by others to help promote your site. Don't wait until you need a photo, do it now, and upload it to your main page or your "About Us" page. Oh, OK, if your really that "BUTT UGLY" use your cousins photo, we don't want to frighten any children. What? You don't have an "About Us" page. Well that then should be step # 2. Design an "About Us" page for your site and let your customers, visitors, and search engine spiders know who you really are. This page can be called anything you want, Contact page, info page, etc etc. Just so that it contains information that will produce results your looking for!
