For Thy PleasureWritten by Joyce C. Lock
God created man in his own image, in image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. In day that God created man, in likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in day when they were created. The north and south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name. This shall be written for generation to come: and people which shall be created shall praise Lord. Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest face of earth. Let them praise name of Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that hand of Lord hath done this, and Holy One of Israel hath created it. Thus saith God Lord, he that created heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth earth, and that which cometh out of it; he giveth breath unto people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein. But now thus saith Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let skies pour down righteousness: let earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I Lord have created it. I have made earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Behold, thou desirest truth in inward parts: and in hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand fear of LORD, and find knowledge of God. For LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth paths of judgment, and preserveth way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when wicked rise, a man is hidden. Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. And I will give thee treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, LORD, which call thee by thy name, am God of Israel. Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. That he who blesseth himself in earth shall bless himself in God of truth; and he that sweareth in earth shall swear by God of truth; because former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
