Exercise Can Decrease Hunger

It is obvious that exercise directly helpsrepparttar loss of excess weight by burning calories. It is less well known that exercise also has indirect benefits for controlling weight.

Many studies have found that even moderate exercise can improverepparttar 114996 feeling of well being and vitality. When you put aside a sluggish body, you also tend to put aside cravings for food, especially harmful foods. Of course, if you have really gone all out in burning calories, your body will tell you that you need to eat. But you will tend to taper off as you satisfy your body's real needs.

Here's a trick that works for me. If weather cooperates, a walk before breakfast helps me to be satisfied with a small breakfast of well chosen foods. If my schedule allows, a half hour of jogging, then shower, before lunch helps me be satisfied with a light meal.

Soy Recipe: Hearty Miso Soup Meal

One ofrepparttar highlights of a meal at a good Japanese restaurant is miso soup. This is usually clear, often with chopped green onions, diced tofu, oriental dried mushroom slices, and delicate spices.

For home use, several brands of dehydrated miso soup are available in oriental and health-food stores. But a better way is to make your own, customized to your taste. Here is one of my recipes, which makes a complete meal. This soup is not clear.

Ingredients per person: * two cups water * angel hair pasta, about a half inch circle's worth * fresh miso paste, from health-food store or similar, about a rounded tablespoonful * one ofrepparttar 114995 following enhancements -- -- about half cup of diced or crushed firm tofu -- one or two whipped eggs --repparttar 114996 tofu with one egg *optional: green spice mix, fresh ground black pepper, diced onions or garlic, and tablespoon of a good soy sauce

These quantities were determined by trial and error. Vary to suit your own tastes.

The only negative about this recipe is that boiling miso can killrepparttar 114997 healthful fermentation culture. If you have a food blender, you can pulverizerepparttar 114998 miso in some water, to add afterrepparttar 114999 pasta is cooked. Otherwise, proceed as follows.
