Dreams come true with the help of global consciousness on the Internet.

Written by Jesse S. Somer

Dreams. There are two types of dreams: 1. When you are sleeping there are stories unfolding in your mind from a parallel dimension. 2. The aims one has in life. The latter isrepparttar type of dream I wish to discuss. We all have these dreams, don’t we? We picture ourselves inrepparttar 118508 future having realized our talents, having achieved inrepparttar 118509 areas that interest us most. Your dream may have been a relatively simple one, like reaching enlightenment, or helping to create world peace! Maybe your dream was just to set foot on as many beaches acrossrepparttar 118510 planet as possible, a little selfish-but hey, you’re still sharing a smile everywhere you go. In thisrepparttar 118511 Information Age, our dreams have become more realistic and practical to attain. Withrepparttar 118512 Internet and web sites in particular, a global consciousness is forming to help all people towards their goals.

Lets say you’re a young lady who lives in a small town in who-knows-where-land. Your dream is to one day live in a forest as a ranger, taking care ofrepparttar 118513 trees and animals, living at one with nature. The Internet seems far removed from this reality but in truth it can be a main section ofrepparttar 118514 road to your destination. By looking at web sites you can find out what other people with similar interests think aboutrepparttar 118515 subject. You can find out where you’ll need to go to study, what interest groups to join, and get opposing opinions onrepparttar 118516 pros and cons of a ranger’s life. You can communicate with experts fromrepparttar 118517 other side ofrepparttar 118518 world just as if they were next door. Seven days a week, night or day, you can access information and ideas from a wide community, a community you now belong to. All it took to start towards realizingrepparttar 118519 dream was simply by adding your identity torepparttar 118520 new world culture created by millions of other normal minds. These are people who want to further humanity throughrepparttar 118521 process of communication.

Gettign a Blog on the Internet

Written by Jesse S. Somer

The fearful, ignorant guy has got a blog onrepparttar Internet. It must be easy!

Of all people inrepparttar 118507 world I was easily one ofrepparttar 118508 most pessimistic about computers, repparttar 118509 Internet and now that I even know they exist-blogs. I think blogs are pretty cool but I never thought I could have one. I thoughtrepparttar 118510 processes of getting a site; domain name andrepparttar 118511 actual building ofrepparttar 118512 blog would just be out of my league. I’m a complete novice when it comes to technology, but I do like writing a journal, and I thought having a journal on-line would be both fun and make life simpler for me. No more writing with pens, other people can read my stuff and comment on it, and I could add pictures to illustrate my points and make things look more interesting.

Well, now I’ve got one! It’s awesome. I won’t lie and say it was easy, but I think if you hook up with a good web hosting company it’s not such a daunting experience as you might expect. I got a few work mates to help me. I went through a couple administrative hitches when filling in my personal information forms forrepparttar 118513 registration-just because I’m a bit silly inrepparttar 118514 head. We had a little trouble withrepparttar 118515 blog program we used, but these challenges were eventually overcome. My boss says he’s going to make a simple program that people can hook up easily.
