Did God Speak To The Nations February 26, 2003

Written by Angelique Watkins

Did God speak torepparttar nations on yesterday February 26, 2003?

Are we listening to God?

I paid very close attention yesterday evening at leadership class.

And I also paid very close attention to a cartoon - animated picture on TV last night.

I want to share two things for now and below I will share from my notes from class.

1. When one ofrepparttar 126982 men which is Chariman of Deacon Board(younger than me) sharedrepparttar 126983 following at leadership class: He shared with us that he was at home yesterday and he just happened to watchrepparttar 126984 soap operas something that he don't do, but for some reason on this soap opera they were talking about and showing one ofrepparttar 126985 characters had died and went to heaven, andrepparttar 126986 focus was on ENTER THE GATES.

I do believe that Kevin told usrepparttar 126987 one that had died was named LUKE

He told us it just caught his attention for that wasrepparttar 126988 title of our Leadership Lesson and he began to watch it and he thought woww!!!

Now keep in mind, I just wonder how many countries, cities and nations did pick up and did show this soap opera?

2. Last night I was watching Bobby Hill on TV: cartoon -- animated picture.

This really caught my eyes his mother had painted CLOUDS on his room wall, now I have seen this picture before but last night I began to see something different; my mind went back to my study onrepparttar 126989 Tabernacle.

Thenrepparttar 126990 daddy did not likerepparttar 126991 wall painted withrepparttar 126992 clouds so he began to takerepparttar 126993 paint brush and cover up just a small partion ofrepparttar 126994 wall.

Everytime Bobby Hill would began to ask questionsrepparttar 126995 daddy would ask don't you have homework to do? Andrepparttar 126996 child said No. Thenrepparttar 126997 daddy asked don't you have sunday school homework to do?

Ok, again I heardrepparttar 126998 word "MIRACLE" and Bobby Hill was reading fromrepparttar 126999 scriptures about Jesus and I thinkrepparttar 127000 wedding at Cana.

Now keep in mind, I just wonder how many countries, cities and nations did pick up and show as well?

Some might be saying Oh, Angela that is just another coincident.

A Christian Should……. By Stanley T. Crawford

As Christians we should treat each other according torepparttar 126981 guidelines established by God. God has defined guidelines for our behavior with our brothers and sisters in Christ. In addition, God has defined how we should treatrepparttar 126982 non-Christian. In some casesrepparttar 126983 guidelines arerepparttar 126984 same for our behavior towardsrepparttar 126985 Christian and non-Christian. In other cases there are unique behaviors that we should display towardrepparttar 126986 Christian andrepparttar 126987 non-Christian. A look at Romans 12:9 – 21 sheds light on this issue. In this passage, Paul defines some ofrepparttar 126988 desired behaviors for Christians in our interactions with Christians and non-Christians.

Paul begins by pointing out thatrepparttar 126989 love that we demonstrate should be real (Romans12:9). Paul proceeds to point out that our focus should be onrepparttar 126990 good and not evil. When people say terrible things about us we shouldn’t dorepparttar 126991 same to them. We should instead bless them (Romans 12:14). Implementing this behavior is a challenge in some situations. At times, our emotional state toward our antagonist makes it difficult to bless and not curse. Yet, we must try to remember that God knows best even over our perceptions. (Proverbs 3:5 & 6)

Also, we should show compassion and empathy (Romans 12:15). We should apply this behavior withrepparttar 126992 Christian and non-Christian. Showing compassion or empathy does not mean that we are to adopt behaviors that aren’t Christ like.
