Dear Suicidal,Written by Ed Howes
May you daily increase in wisdom, love, gratitude, reverence, healing, peace, joy, happiness, laughter and prosperity. If no one else seems to want these things for you, I do. Please accept them with an open mind and heart. All of your pain has a single source. That source is ignorance, or not knowing. If you knew, deep in your heart, as well as in your head, great secret that few people ever know; you would never again feel pain you have been feeling. The secret is two fold. Who you are and why you are. You can hardly know who you think you are a creation of others, fastened upon you since birth. All your life, others have defined you by their words and actions. They have convinced you that you are somebody very different than who you are. You have every right to be confused. You sense you are someone else but you can't find that person or see her or him clearly. You can solve this problem. The tools you need to find yourself are mocked by those who also believe they are someone they are not. This riddle is passed from one generation to another through all history. Here is your key: Obtain your astrological natal chart from an astrologer. You will have to supply astrologer with your date, time and place of birth. Ask someone who should know, or seek out hospital records. If you cannot find your time or place of birth, a fair natal or birth chart can still be constructed. Next, seek out a numerologist or get a book or two on subject. When you have examined your personal astrology and numerology, you will see truth of my words. You will find person you suspected was you, your strengths and weaknesses. You might also discover many reasons why you have been mistaken for somebody else. You will no longer feel like a lost soul. You will also begin to see that all things in life are cyclical. That is, no situation remains indefinitely and change is way of all life. You will see that certain experiences will repeat throughout your lifetime. As you change way you see them, effects will be very different and much less painful. You will see how patience is always rewarded and forcing is always punished. You will see new options for your life. You may be inspired to use these tools to better know people close to you, instead of defining them through your pain. This is your opportunity to be free of pain that has denied you so much happiness. You can handle this. You will be lightening an unbearable load until there is no longer any load at all. It is a rapid process, quite opposite of accumulating pain. Now that you know who you are, you are ready to learn why you are. This is detective work. You have clues to follow up. You have experience. You have had moments of utter joy. What were things that created this joy? Perhaps you cannot recall any joyful thing in your life. Look for moments of relative happiness. What was cause of it? Astrology and numerology will provide more clues, explaining what kind of things suit you and what kind of activities are likely to provide you with satisfaction. You may think you came into this world with nothing. Others may have told you so. You did not come with nothing. You came with gifts to give or share with rest of us, as we have gifts to share with you, if you would only look for and accept them. The joy you have been missing is giving, receiving and sharing of these gifts. All givers are unique and one of a kind. Their gifts are likewise unique. No two people receive gifts same way either. To test this, give exact same gift to a dozen different people and carefully observe its effect on them. This is universal purpose for every person who ever lived. Giving and receiving. To only give or to only receive is to rob ourselves and others of joy and happiness. Who can receive when no one gives? Who can give when no one accepts?
| | What does Meditation music do to you?Written by Werner Boersch
Personally I belief that it is possible for anyone to live a life of happiness, inner peace, and outward success, no matter what their present or past circumstances. There are very real methods anyone can use to achieve these things—if they are willing to make necessary changes in how they see themselves and their relationship to rest of world, and take necessary actions. All traditions of meditation flow from one premise: that entire universe is made of one all-encompassing energy, intelligent and aware, existing forever as source of everything. Because there is nothing outside of it, say mystics, because of its completeness, this energy has nothing to get or need, nothing to fear. Simply because it is its nature to do so, this one energy continually spins itself out as entire, infinite universe. The very nature of this energy, it is said, is contentment, love, peace, happiness, and perfection. The totality of this energy, say mystics, is who you really are; your seeming separateness, an illusion. Saints and sages have for centuries attempted to describe to humankind a state of awareness where this feeling of oneness with everything in universe is predominant experience. For thousands of years, curious seekers have responded to these explanations by asking, "If I am this one, infinite energy, beginning less and endless totality of everything, if I really am Love itself, then why do I feel so bad? Why do I have so many problems? Why don’t I feel peace and happiness you say is my true nature?" And mystic invariably would answer, "You do not experience your true nature because of your mind. Your mind keeps you from experience of what truly is." These explanations state that one energy of reality, at moment of creation, polarized itself into a seeming duality—good and evil, male and female, up and down, here and there and all other pairs of seeming opposites. This duality, however, is more apparent than real. In each pair of opposites, each part is dependent on other for its existence, like two sides of same coin. "Cold" is meaningless without "hot"; "good" makes no sense without "bad". According to mystical philosophies of East,it is tension between these pairs of opposites, in your mind, that actually causes universe to manifest. This tension between opposites is also reflected in human brain. The brain, divided into two hemispheres, right and left, has same dual structure—made more acute by fact that in virtually all people two hemispheres are unbalanced, a state called brain lateralization. Since brain filters our reality in this split-brain way, we tend to see things in terms of duality rather than oneness spoken of by mystics. Of course, today we know that this is true—the mind does indeed act as a filter, coloring our view of reality just as colored glasses give an illusory tint to what we see. As we grow up, our brain is programmed that some things cause pain and should be avoided, while others bring pleasure and should be sought. Our brain will always filter reality to confirm that its predominant beliefs and associations are truth. No wonder we don’t see universe of love and harmony described by saints and mystics! If brain could somehow learn to operate in a more coherent, holistic manner, if two sides of brain could somehow balance, interact more, and function, as one, then possibly our experience of reality would be different. The more lateralization in brain (in other words, more tension between polar opposites) more feelings of separation, fear, anxiety, and isolation. In fact, as we shall see, only a lateralized brain can continue to entertain types of beliefs that result in dysfunctional and addictive behaviors and painful feelings that accompany them.
