The Windex Solution For Unclogging Epson Print Heads

Tools needed:

1 - 10cc Injector 1 - 4" - 5" of fish tank air line tubing (Wal*Mart fish department) Windex (No Drip works best)

We are going to flushrepparttar 107213 print head out withrepparttar 107214 Windex cleaner. Some people from outsiderepparttar 107215 US may not know about Windex. It is a popular window cleaner sold here inrepparttar 107216 US.

Cut four or five inches of fish tank air line tubing and attach it torepparttar 107217 end ofrepparttar 107218 injector, removerepparttar 107219 needle first. Pull 3 - 5 cc of Windex intorepparttar 107220 injector. Holdrepparttar 107221 injector so thatrepparttar 107222 tubing is pointing up and pushrepparttar 107223 plunger a little until allrepparttar 107224 air is out ofrepparttar 107225 tubing. You don't want to inject any air intorepparttar 107226 cartridge. Put this assembly aside for now.

Turn your printer on and hold downrepparttar 107227 paper feed button untilrepparttar 107228 carriage moves torepparttar 107229 cartridge change position. Unplugrepparttar 107230 printer. This is important, you don't wantrepparttar 107231 carriage to move inrepparttar 107232 middle ofrepparttar 107233 procedure.

Removerepparttar 107234 cartridge that is giving you trouble. Look insiderepparttar 107235 carriage cavity for a small post that would normally be inserted intorepparttar 107236 ink port ofrepparttar 107237 cartridge, in other wordsrepparttar 107238 post that supplies ink torepparttar 107239 print head. You may need a flashlight to see it.
