Being active users ofrepparttar internet, we all come across so many tempting business offers. Most of us would love to be able to quit our mundane job that takes all of our time and energy. Most of us think "I know there is a way to make money onrepparttar 118907 computer, and some day I will sit down and figure it out."

Every time an advertisement or website catches your interest, you can not help but wonder if it could actually work, and then you could work from home and spend more time with your family. There is nothing wrong with that! Sometimes change is good, or sometimes you just have to take that chance. But since there is so much riding on any decision you may make, especially money, shouldn't you step back and take a second look?

First off, and very important, never ever take an ad for what it says. There are no guarantees that advertisers tellrepparttar 118908 truth. They want to sell to you, and they will tell you whatever it is that you want to hear to get you interested. Now, there are many legitimate businesses that will not steer you wrong. But, please do not take them for face value. Don't jump in with both feet without takingrepparttar 118909 time to investigate.

I have always felt that MarketingTrendz.com has done a good job in trying to educate our readers as far as dealings onrepparttar 118910 internet. Butrepparttar 118911 fact is, most ofrepparttar 118912 people I hear from have all learnedrepparttar 118913 hard way aboutrepparttar 118914 offers they find onrepparttar 118915 internet. My thinking in sitting down to write this warning to you is- Do you need to burn your hand to know that fire is hot? Can we not learn from other real experiences and save ourselves from a lot of trouble?

There are many ways to verify that a person or business is what they claim to be and believe me (and everyone who has gone through this) it is worthrepparttar 118916 extra time and research to protect yourself. Below are some web addresses that I personally find useful and have book marked for my easy access.

Resistance is Futile

Don't laugh, but I have a confession to make. After owning a business online now for almost 3 years, I finally looked into paying my bills online. Like I said, don't laugh.

I had to hear from quite a few people that they- pay their bills online, how easy it is, and how they have had no problems- just to take a look atrepparttar option. I have been resisting this "new" option with all of my being.

But I finally tookrepparttar 118906 plunge, and momentarily, I kind of look forward to paying my bills. I still don't like parting withrepparttar 118907 money one bit, of course. But it is so easy, and new. I know, it will wear off.

This monumental leap of faith got me thinking aboutrepparttar 118908 businesses and people who are still resistingrepparttar 118909 wayrepparttar 118910 world has changed, now that everyone else has jumped onrepparttar 118911 world wide web band wagon.

Getting Down to Business ------------------------------------ A few days after setting up my account to pay my bills online, I received a newsletter inrepparttar 118912 mail from my local Credit Union and it had a short article aboutrepparttar 118913 fact that many merchants don't even use your check when you payrepparttar 118914 bill. They userepparttar 118915 data fromrepparttar 118916 check, but can do withoutrepparttar 118917 transporting of paper checks from one place to another. It is expensive and inefficient and soon will be history. I am sure we will being seeing more about this withrepparttar 118918 coming hike inrepparttar 118919 cost of postage. I think this is a strong indicator that everyone who resistsrepparttar 118920 changes in technology will soon be left inrepparttar 118921 dust. This effects everyone.

What about businesses? It is so aggravating when businesses you deal with are still resisting using email. Some resist implementing computers as well. As time goes on, do they really imagine they will stay in business? Have you noticed thatrepparttar 118922 simplest products or businesses have their own website? Isn't thatrepparttar 118923 first thing you look for with anything you purchase, or want to purchase?

Get With It -------------- If you aren't convinced thatrepparttar 118924 majority ofrepparttar 118925 people are usingrepparttar 118926 internet, go to your public library and watch to see how many people are coming just to get onrepparttar 118927 internet. Those computers never get a break!

Or take a renewed interest in how many people you know have an email address. I tend to neglect getting that information from people, because I spend my time onrepparttar 118928 computer working, so I rarely feel like doing anything online that doesn't involve my business. So, I continue to be surprised atrepparttar 118929 people that I know who are keeping up withrepparttar 118930 times.
