We’ve all heard phrases that challenged us to greatness. But instead of being challenged, what a difference it could make if we challenged ourselves ... if, every day, we awoke to hopeful expectations; searching for another mountain to climb and obstacle to pass while actually looking forward torepparttar 122770 ruff spots (knowing they’ll only help us grow stronger), to be "all that we can be" and then to be totally contented there, to be determined to make a difference and berepparttar 122771 difference, to reach out to our fellow man, and to look forward to every breath of life God has given.

Only Two Paths

Once upon a time, there was a retarded young man whose heart's desire was to go out on church visitation. One might wonder what good a retarded person could accomplish. But, it was decided to let him go.

He walked up to a strange door, in a strange neighborhood, and knocked. A man answeredrepparttar door. The young man asked, "Are you going to Heaven?"

The homeowner answered, "No."

Then,repparttar 122768 young man responded, "Well, go to Hell, then."

They tell me this was a true story andrepparttar 122769 stark shock of that incident causedrepparttar 122770 man to realize his need for God. Thus, he became saved.

Though we might get our lights punched out for tryingrepparttar 122771 same, it would be just as good were we to look atrepparttar 122772 "either ors", in our life, with just as much boldness and honesty.
