COFFEE AND A TIP

COFFEE AND A TIP

One ofrepparttar challenges of multi-career marriages is allotting time forrepparttar 104128 family and for each other. Some years ago, Sherry and I began to realize this and decided to take steps to insure “our time” every day. So, we began going to a convenient place inrepparttar 104129 evening just to have coffee and to visit.

We found it a bit amusing (and a compliment to our 35-year marriage) when some ofrepparttar 104130 staff at one restaurant thought we were having an affair because we would often arrive in separate cars.

One ofrepparttar 104131 places we enjoy coffee and dessert isrepparttar 104132 Menger Hotel. Not only is it a beautiful place, but also their coffee is some ofrepparttar 104133 smoothest.

I remember one particular evening atrepparttar 104134 Menger. After our waiter brought our check and walked away with my $20, I commented to Sherry that I had forgotten to have him bring me plenty of one dollar bills. I knew that afterrepparttar 104135 tip I would still need money for school lunchesrepparttar 104136 next morning.

We decided to see ifrepparttar 104137 waiter knew his stuff. If, on our $10 check, he brought back two fives or a ten dollar bill, we would know he was not onrepparttar 104138 ball. He did not disappoint us. He brought me plenty of ones and we, in turn, were generous with our tip.

Since a large part of a barber’s income is from tips, I learned this lesson about making change a long time ago. Certainly, a person ought to getrepparttar 104139 same quality service whether he chooses to tip or not. That’s a personal decision. But, if a person wants to tip, he shouldn’t be inconvenienced by having to ask for change.

Is There an Affiliate "Free Lunch" Program

Written by Glenn Beach

"Everything worthwhile has a cost... Whenever you think you are getting something for nothing, look again—someone, somewhere, somehow is paying for it. Behind every free lunch there is a hidden cost to be accounted for." Edwin G. Dolan

If you, or any of your business prospects, believe that time is money, then yes, repparttar "There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch" principle DOES apply to your internet business. What you can't invest in money, you will have to invest in time. You will have to be able to putrepparttar 104127 axe torepparttar 104128 grind for more hours per day or week, and you will have to wait for more weeks and months before your ship comes in. Those arerepparttar 104129 facts.

If you are able to think outsiderepparttar 104130 box (and few internet entrepreneurs CAN'T!) thenrepparttar 104131 principle can be stretched a little. Are you balking at spending a few pennies a day to boost your sales? Do some research comparing what your marketing program offers and whatrepparttar 104132 same services cost onrepparttar 104133 open market. Compare what information your program offers and what you can learn elsewhere. For example:

* find some online business forums and search these topics: free advertising, phone follow-up techniques, sample follow-up letters, sample phone scripts.

* investigate your and other affiliate marketing programs for allrepparttar 104134 above plus services and tools such as: prospect notification, contact manager, online forum, billing and revenue collection, gateway website, company resource center, free sales and marketing tools, affiliate training courses, successful team support, commission or compensation schedule. In other words, look at EVERYTHING thatrepparttar 104135 program will give you for free.
